Re: Oct 17th. Aggies better suit up.

Awesome to see. Time for the mountain west to now do the right thing. As long as we have California schools in the conference the chances are extremely low. Do you have any confidence that they will? I know I don’t. None at all for a full season or a legit conference season, but I dont see why they...

Re: NCAA Tournament proposal

For just 2021? Does this have something to do with 2020 tourney getting canceled? Just for 2021. The reason was simple: they didn't trust the committee to accurately compare different school/conference resumes in deciding who gets in and who doesn't. Some schools might have pre-season and larger sc...

Re: What does the college FB landscape look like going forward?

I think an 8 team playoff in this format: 5 teams representing the champion from each P5 conference 2 at large teams 1 team represented from the G5 conferences This gives a team from each P5 conference a playoff chance, gives you the two at-large teams, and also keeps the magic of a Cinderella team ...

Couldn’t the MWC just play an 11 game conference schedule by each team just adding the three opponents they aren’t supposed to play this year?
DING!!
Add BYU to the group for a full 12 game schedule.

Re: Cancelled Games

Our AD is taking this covid cancelled games thing as a huge opportunity. I know we have been in discussion with several schools. Some of whom are WAY out of our league, to get a home and home. And would never happen without covid. It may or may not happen but we are aggressively looking to add game...

Hurt feelings and loss of a good QB aside, Shelley and Peasely are both exciting QBs to have in the locker room and are very similar players which will allow for an offense to be structured that will fit both players. It makes sense for the P5 conferences to maintain flexibility and they are able to absorb the financial hit but for the G5 schools it is a huge hit and for independent schools like BYU it is a serious blow.

I’m starting to really think the season isn’t going to happen. Basketball might start off without fans, the. Transition if/when vaccines and treatments come. I won't be surprised to see another 2-for-1 pop up during 2024-2026. I 2nd this.
