Re: Your Turn Mtn West

I don't see it happening in the PAC 12 and MWC. Too many shut down states in the two conferences. This is why it would have been good for the coaches to make a statement how disappointed they were that they canceled the season and question the reasoning. Another problem that both conferences gave is...

I just got an email from the Air Force athletic department stating that they are playing Navy on October 3rd. Any word about when the Aggies are starting?

I think if our conference was the mountain division only we would be playing right now. Thanks to Hawaii, SDSU, San Jose and New Mexico we are on the sidelines looking like fools. Also I'm sure the old Gary Andersen would have put up some sort of a fight to play. On another note whatever happened wi...

Re: Outrage, or at least displeasure with Cancelled MWC Sports

Using that same logic the game of football should never be played because there is too risk of injury or death is too high. If a player thinks the risk is too high they are not required to play. However people continue to play because they feel the benefits far outweigh the risks of playing. Other s...

I'm just glad here at Utah State we are concerned for the health and well being of our "student" athletes. The regular students can go #$$&_# yourselves and die of covid. Re: Season being further reduced to division games only?

The big concern of playing football in the spring has been players not wanting to take the beating of a full spring season, then turn around and play in the fall. While 12 games in spring followed by 12 in fall may be alot to ask, or even 8 conference games in spring, I don't think it would be as h...

A simple examination of Europe and you'll see that life goes on after the spike. CV19 will run its course. It's either slow or fast. Masks didn't stop or slow the decline in cases in Europe. This is just fear. It's real, but it is not uncommon to sit people out due to the common flu. Just plain ove...

The LSU game last year was a great comeback as we were down 19 in the second half. Even though the LSU game was great, the goat for me was against #5 SDSU with Sam Merrill hitting the winning shot!

I wonder if East High dominance has anything to do with it. If West High could keep their players they would probably be a powerhouse.
