Re: So let me get this straight....

The MW had canceled the football season citing risk of the spread of COVID-19 and player safety as the reason. So USU is going to open campus for classes this fall and then shut down at Thanksgiving and go to remote classes and finals to finish out the semester. The school has stated mask wearing i...

Re: MWC

Air Force will play (cannot give up on Army and Navy). Wyoming, Boazy, and the stench would probably play. Nebraska has announced they still want to play. USU could arrange home and home schedule with those four and a roadie with the Huskers, then maybe pick up a one or two more. John L never played...

Re: No College Football this fall according to 2 P5 ADs

A simple examination of Europe and you'll see that life goes on after the spike. CV19 will run its course. It's either slow or fast. Masks didn't stop or slow the decline in cases in Europe. This is just fear. It's real, but it is not uncommon to sit people out due to the common flu. Just plain ove...

Does USU pay health insurance for them? Otherwise it would be one of the worse places to be at, financially speaking. And the best place to be if you happen to get the virus I think you meant that it is the best place to be if you WANT to get the virus. Ridiculous, and a bad faith sandification of ...

So Gary tried to bring in another QB in May huh. One thing that is abundantly clear, Gary did not want to go into this season with HC as his QB. Sounds like it GA might have gotten a drift that HC wanted to be a "free agent" during this non-season. Possibly, but I think not. As far as I can see, he...

Bean's work ethic and attention to detail are why I expect him to be a star for us over the next two years, and then enjoy a very good European career. Dude has gone from a hustle player to a skilled big man, but has never lost the energy he brings. By the end of his time as an Aggie, I'd expect hi...

The Mika, Haws, Emery, Toolson, Shumway team was by far the better Lone Peak and probably the best team ever in the state.
That's a good argument.

Who did they beat in national competition is, imnsho, a better one.
Both sound like very good teams.

Jim Brown, end of discussion.

My dad, who played two seasons of Aggie FB after coming back from active duty, had four sons play Freshman Ball for the Aggies (two on scholarship, two without). I wish I'd had even one play, but life didn't permit it.
