Lot of "cools" on that list.
How many spots do we actually have open? (Meaning how many do we need to sign?)

Re: Great Osobor
So all that talk about Calhoun being chosen cause it’ll keep the team together was bull$hit. That he would keep Haslam and Brown on staff, also bull$hit. That the AD had addressed NIL concerns, bull$hit frosting on top of bull$hit. I’ve lost all faith in college sports. Man, that is depressing outl...

Re: Head Coaches that we should consider
I like the coaches at Indiana State (Josh Schertz age 46) and Samford (Bucky Mcmillan age 40). Both are young, but have had success and both have top 10 offenses. Indiana state got robbed out of a bid, but should have had one and Samford dang near beat Kansas.

Re: Keys to beating TCU:
Decided to review our losses for commonalities. You have some thing right, but it really boils down to defense and how we shoot. 1. Great Osobor NEEDS to make free throws. He will be a mismatch and he will get TCU into foul trouble. 63.3 percent FT shooter is what he is. It will be in that range. He...

Welp, that cinches it. Time to load up the kids and head to Vegas. Anyone have any idea which section is the USU section?

Re: What do you think the "formula" is that MWC good teams have found?
you think law of averages will help us? Unfortunately you are comparing apples and oranges.. One guys success in high school is totally different to college. distance of 3 pointer, amount of pressure and height of defenders, etc.. You can't even compare first half of the season (before league play)...

Re: What do you think the "formula" is that MWC good teams have found?
There are 269 teams shooting a higher 3 point percentage than we are at 31.7 percent. Our lack of shooting is allowing teams cover the pick and roll easier by just sagging off to go under it, since our shooters can't shoot. A really sharp cut on the pick as Coach mentioned does help solve that, but ...

J Love won’t say his high school on Sunday Nighy football. Jordan is involved with the NIL collectives, still comes back to Logan. Bobby? Not sure if he has/does. He’s a great player, but doesn’t seem to like repping U State, just an observation Bobby used to come back quite a bit during bye weeks....

Re: Scotty and Hans Yesterday
What I've heard from a coach at one of our local high schools is Weber does a better job recruiting in state than USU at this point. He echoed that he rarely sees or hears anything from USU anymore. Probably an exaggeration. But man, we have had some really good in state talent over the years. (Obvi...

Good info, thanks! Agree with what has been said. When previous staffs declined to aggressively recruit in state it is a sign they want out and need to leave with a quick fix season. Not going to be surprised if we see a wholesale change shortly after or even before the Bowl Game. Feels like the Joh...

There wasn't just booing around me there were some pretty terrible things said to our players and coaches and yes, I saw the players and coaches turn and look when they heard it. I hated it. I don't boo college kids or our coaches. However. and to be fair to our fans also, that was one of the worst ...

We are so damn spoiled for how much budget we spend on our athletic programs. Not only does our football program win, we win in a way that is very fun to watch. Last year several of my non-Utah friends started watching us play after the win against WSU and they got hooked on our fast offensive and m...

I remember the 2017 USU vs Josh Allen game at home. I was there with a good friend who is a Buffalo Bills fan. We debated the entire game about whether he was all that. Pretty good relist to me. Tough call between Rice and Heninger if you had to pick one. Heninger's last few games were epic. But Rice won us a few too.
Still basking in the glow of that season. And still so perplexed as to what happened at the Wyoming game.
