Re: Ex Aggies Coach to BS U
Ahh, the Eustachy years. He'd bring in 6 jc players every year and by the time the season started 4 of them had left Logan. He was such a warm compassionate human being.

Re: Should we remove Ryan Odom from the Twitter news feed?
I didn't like the Odom hire. It didn't feel right. He always seemed like a guy who was here between gigs. I didn't like his recruiting, I didn't think his success was going to last. I've already forgotten him, and and in a few years so will the majority of Aggie basketball fans.

Under Eustachy it was............who is Eustachy going to bring in this year, and who will even be around when the season starts? Can he recruit post players who are over 6'6"? Under Morrill it was always exciting waiting to see which players he would bring in every year. But I can't recall a year w...

So tall people are discriminated against because people ask them if they play basketball or they have a hard time taking a crap on a regular size toilet? Tough life. Real tough. Ask any tall person if they'd trade places with a little person.

Re: 13=13 (2023-24 Edition)
I'm right half the time maybe when it comes to Aggie basketball, but I gotta say I was never worried about how Sprinkle would do when it came to recruiting. I've always thought that there was no reason why the past few Aggie coaches shouldn't have been better at recruiting than they were. Some may d...

Re: Basketball team filled the positions too fast...
Sprinkle is too young to be finishing this quickly. Maybe the stress is getting to him? :noidea: According to a number of posters on here Sprinkle didn't finish soon enough. That could possibly be because they, themselves, are used to immediate gratification. Maybe around a minute or so. You'd have...

Well, would you look at that? Life has presented me with the incredible dilemma of having absolutely nothing to complain about! It's truly a tragedy, isn't it? All these fantastic recruits have managed to spoil my ability to grumble and moan. How am I supposed to keep my cynicism intact with all th...

Re: New commit. Mad max
I'm impressed with what Sprinkle has done in such a short time. I can't recall one USU coach who came into his first year with only 4 players on the roster. During the Stew years Aggie fans would have been ecstatic with Burris, Templin, Sakho, and Agbonkpolo. And while Sakho and Templin signed while...

Not the best competition in his highlight video, but there have been plenty of players his size in the Big Sky and Big West who couldn't move, jump or shoot as well. With the openings we have it's a good time to take a chance on a HS player like him who looks like he could develop into a MWC level p...

Re: Time to Freak Out...
It'll take a good head coach one season at most to make USU competitive in the MWC regardless of which players transfer out.
It isn't likely that Ashworth will make any money in basketball after graduation unless he goes into coaching. He should take as much money as he can get next year.

I voted for the 2nd option. USU shouldn't even consider someone who hasn't been a head coach in D1, which Dixon hasn't, unless the candidate's been a top assistant at a successful program in a higher rated conference.

I would like to see USU basketball have the goal of taking it to the next level. To bring in players, regardless of religion or where they're from, who have the ability to do that. And a coach who has the ability to recruit them here. I don't think the last two coaches had that ability. Maybe that i...

It'd be great if the next head coach and staff, who could be here sooner than later, understood the difference in the level of competition between the MWC and a conference like the American East. It'd also be great if the next coaching staff could recruit worth a d#$m.

Does "good again" mean like last year when the MW wasn't very good, or "good again" like when it was actually good? Next year's Aggie team looks to be one of the most bland, least exciting teams in the past 15 years and I don't see them doing any better than last year unless the MWC implodes. I wond...
