Re: The Portal giveth and the Portal taketh away

Not portal news necessarily, but a huge blow to the Cowboys: https://twitter.com/jjohnke/status/1597307444304437248 He was probably on thin ice ever since massively underperforming expectations against our run defense by only racking up 160 yards and 3 TDs against us. Proven player. You take this d...

Re: Utah State Football needs a Shift in Identity.

Enough with the Spread Offense. Enough with the 6 man fronts on defense. We’re in Logan, UT. We play in the MWC. We need to be big and physical. Why don’t we develop a Pro style offense. 12/22 personnel, QB under center. Mix in some Shotgun. Power Run. Why is this so difficult? Why are we so infatu...

Re: Tucker needs to be shown the door.

It’s easy to blame coaching. Sometimes execution is to blame too. And although true that execution is a function of coaching- it’s also a function of talent. After a 6-6 season where we won 5 of the last 7 games it may be knee jerk to make whole sale changes. Idk what offensive change should be mad...

Re: Tucker needs to be shown the door.

My main complaint with Tucker this year is that it seems he doesn't use the entire field in the passing game. He spreads the defense as wide as possible, but it seems like every pass play is designed to use only a small segment of the field. Perhaps it is due to Legas' inexperience? I don't know, b...

Re: Tucker needs to be shown the door.

I thought the second half adjustments were brilliant. We don’t have great personnel on offense and I think we will get that fixed next year. Not a perfect game by any stretch but we don’t have the talent we did this year on O. Nowhere close.

^^^^^ Agreed. I would only add that sometimes you need an outsider. Someone who is not beholden to anyone or any group so that the hard decisions can be made. So many questions. 1. Why is Scott Wyatt’s name being thrown around short term when she is not leaving till July. I was ok with him for a few months, but I am with rAggie, don’t want him long term. 2. Are we going to hire a new AD before a new president? Seems unlikely. 3. Where is Bovee in race fo...

One thing Aggie fans never learn- is that the whole world is not out to get us- this especially true with the SLC media. Our fanbase is minuscule compared to BYU and Utah so of course our coverage won’t be as frequent or as high quality.

Those heaters are useless at those temps. They’re also useless if there’s a slight breeze.
I felt warm enough. It was still cold to be sure but not terribly unpleasant.

If he can, he may be the first in a very long time.
AJ Carter had a nice play on the ball last night. Was in phase with the receiver and thus COULD turn his head. Just dropped the pick.

Well, Al Lewis had a tendency to elevate his vocals every now and then….but we still love him. [emoji6] Al’s voice would rise an octave and sometimes even break into falsetto. SDSU looked really good. I have a feeling they won't struggle from 3 all year but tonight was a little rough. Good summary. I liked the Funk, Bairstow, Shulga combo. The Point guards are good enough. Akin struggled but I think he will improve. I think UVU will actually be a pretty good team. Somewhat surprised we didn't see Johnson or Falslev. I think UVU will be okay. That was probably a Q3 win. That Band...
