Offense could be decent.
Defense could get ugly fast.
Not that that tho means anything. But dI defense won the first scrimmage
If there's one thing Gary Andersen is good at, it's at producing high effort and creative defenses.

Surprised Keegan Duncan didn't make the 2 deep. I have been high on him ever since I watched him in HS.

Re: Jaylen Dixon

A few interesting things about Sione Lund. - Not sure if we are interested in him or not but seeing as he is a Utah LB and both Gary and Ena would have coached him, I'd be surprised if there wasn't at least some contact made. - He was suspended for spring ball at Utah - He was a 4-star recruit out ...

Re: Jaylen Dixon

I’m not sure gary recruited them but he would have a relationship with them. Plus success of prior transfers and those relationships also help. Repp, Mariner, and Heninger were all big contributors for us last year after playing sparsely at the U. Immediate PT and impact is almost always attractive...

Re: Jaylen Dixon

I still don't love us just being the U's cast offs every year. I think it can hurt us in recruiting if we are constantly bringing in grad transfers from Salt Lake. That said, each of the transfers we've gotten have performed well. So its kinda like an addiction, it helps for a little while but afte...

Who wants to hire Matt Wells back as O.C. in 1-2 years after he's let go? Has the guy ever produced a good offense without significant help? 2012 he had Sanford Sr and 2018 he let Yost run it. The other seasons he relied on really good defense and mediocre offense. All coaches have significant help...

Re: Way Too Early Depth Chart

Troy Lefeged is moving back to safety. I think you may see us use a more traditional 3-4. Found this video from today with bojay to be interesting. It was about olb. It sounds like he just talks about the one side and lists out the depth. Heninger, Shelton, neves and hola. To me it sounds like safe...

Who should've been starting over him? If I remember right, Haney was injured and out that game. It seems like DJ was the one that got picked on over and over against Wake. Re: Way Too Early Depth Chart

We should be careful with what information we are putting on this board or on social media . The more information in regards of depth chart, packages, starters, ect.. we put out whether it's speculation or fact..the more Boise State will find out. I know it sounds crazy & maybe paranoid - but anyon...

Some thoughts: 1. Were we previously told that Cole Motes was going to be moved to OL? I like the thought of a guy with sweet feet being able to put weight on the frame and grow into that role, but I was surprised he had beefed up so much. 2. I am not as concerned about the DL as many here seem to ...

Re: Way Too Early Depth Chart

Wow - that's a young offensive line. Not a lot of upperclassman leadership for what looks to be a run-heavy offense. I hope they are up to the task. Just out of curiosity - for those that have seen some practices, are they using more offensive sets with the QB under center? Or in the shotgun? Thoug...
