Re: Utah Hockey

Utah Phoenix actually makes some sense because the name Utah literally means People of the Sun or something like that. How about the Utah Cut Throats (after the trout). The frozen fish LOL. I like both, but Phoenix seems truly jerky after pulling the team from them. Cutthroat is too soon after that...

I would rather have Great, I don't know much about the guy from Stetson. I just think it's weird that he isn't bringing anyone with him. Maybe it's because all of his best players were seniors?
Oh, me too, for sure. Would prefer both.

I would rather have Great and/or the Stetson big.

Blaine Spires, Sir Mells, EJ Fisk. EJ Fisk came from a JC, and would be eligible to transfer. Didn't we get Spires from Bowling Green and Mells from Oregon? Haven't they already used their 1 transfer? Fisk was just a guess. Mells was an educated guess and Spires I just said because that would suck....

Hopefully maybe they can actually pick up some good non conference wins next year now and not enter conference play with a NET ranking around 100. I’m not that bummed about Cardenas. I bet we get someone just as good if not better. I’m sure someone more athletic. Yeah. I think I like our new PG jus...

Honestly, outside UCONN, I like our chances against that list. UCONN is going to be looking to replace Clingan's production primarily, and Great plays in a similar bracket to Samson Johnson. I'd think going there is more of a gamble to start. Playing for a blue blood could be the dream, but even th...

And as I thought about it some more, another strong possibility is that an offer was made to one candidate but they made a counteroffer that USU doesn't want to accept and/or USU has reason to believe that he is just trying to get a raise from his current employer and isn't a serious candidate.
