Re: Do you think the NCAA new rules about limiting contact in practice will lead to more injuries in games?

Will lead to less injuries overall. The only thing I think we'll see more of in games is missed tackles all around. I'm ok with that to keep folks healthy as long as the rule is really applied evenly

OVs, OOS, NSD1, NSD2..... Holy acronyms Batman... uh I mean bingman!
OVs = official visits
NSD1 = national signing day 1 (the one in December)
NSD2 = national signing day 2 (the one in February)

I'm not sure what he means by OOS.

Re: Spring Game Reports... Please!

Here’s a few quick thoughts: Peasley & Legas have both improved. They’ve had better footwork & are throwing better balls IMO. That’s not saying a ton though because I’ve never been too high on either, but they have undoubtedly gotten better. The RB position looks really good to me. I think we’ll be...

The hand wringing is ridiculous around here. Chances were next year was going to be rough no matter what. Things never happen fast enough for us and we all freak out. Went through this with the football coach hire, his assistants, when we originally hired Smith, and now here we are again. I'll save ...

When it has to do with kids choosing where to go to school the sources are never good until the kid commits, even if the source is the kid himself.

The ones on D are essentially the 2s right now.

Also, if Legas looked fine with the 1s, that is better than Peasley.

Love getting the reports. Can't wait to be in Maverik in the fall, I hope!

Re: Spring Ball

The WR core looked lights out compared to last years squad. Peasley was throwing the ball well and excited to see the line blocking decently. Actually had time most plays to make a throw plus opening holes for the running game. The tempo offense was very exciting to watch. The DBs played tight and ...

I would love to see Pasternack. He's done a great job at UCSB and he also stuck with New Orleans to finish out his contract in a tough situation where they were stepping down a division. I think he'd be a great choice

We've had shooters. More rare is the guard that can penetrate effectively and bring the ball up against the kind of defense we see in the tourney. We've haven't had very many. A lot of the guys on this list couldn't do it.
