Excited to not have being under center on 3rd and 1 be the equivalent of an Elvis sighting.

Re: Way Too Early Depth Chart

Any idea who the other starters will be? I assume Edwards, Shaw, Bloomfield, and Koch, but wondering if Aliifua will fill one of the guard slots. Pretty exciting to see a freshman potentially pushing for a spot ahead of a returning at starter, wow!

I went to all of the home games and 2 road games of the 2006 season and celebrated our lone win over Fresno like we had won the National Championship...so I deserve at least 1 ticket to 1 game. :notworthy:  :notworthy: That was my first year as a season ticket holder. I think it is handling the open date in the schedule from Air Force the way that is most advantageous for the whole conference to perhaps get a team in the NY6. Tough to argue with

There is no way in hell Peasley will be the QB starter this year. It’s all a facade. It’s Shelley’s job.

Re: Revisit the depth chart

Nathan is one of the most consistent returners as far as taking care of the ball that we've ever had. That one muff you refer to is the only one I can think of in 3 seasons. I don't have the same level of trust in Scarver to take care of the ball.

There's no QB race. Jason Shelley knew he was going to be the starter when he transferred to USU.

Reading a little, I think those offers were awhile back...around his sophomore year or so. Not sure they are still valid. Regardless, if he really held those offers at any time, he certainly is a very good athlete. I really like the way the RB unit is growing. I expect that in the future we will sta...

Most students on campus will be attending remote classes. Most only have 1 in-person class, if that. It really is the same challenge for schools at all levels. At least college students can be treated as responsible for any dumb decisions they make. My 7 year old may make the same (well not quite, b...

This is so overblown it is driving me crazy, the survival rate is just under 99% and if you throw in this age group it is even higher. This is a flu virus, is this going to be the norm going forward? Unpopular opinion: many people have paid way too much attention to media hysteria and way too little attention to the actual data when making COVID-19 decisions. It would be more than foolish for the coaches to guarantee a starting to job to JS or for that matter almost any transfer that would come to USU. I seriously doubt GA did so. I listened to the interview and that is certainly not what I heard. I'm sure he didn't "guarantee" the job, but Shelley isn'...

I don't think that is true. I would say he likely didn't want to go into the season with only one QB with any decent game experience and didn't want the position to have zero competition for the starting role without a returning starter. Don't think it was a problem with HC specifically

I have a lot of empathy and concern for the players, especially those who feel like they are being forced to play when they are unsafe. I don't have empathy, however, for the added bullet point of profit-sharing in their list of demands. It undercuts their argument for me. Athletes work very had, bu...
