Re: Coaching candidates

I’m back guys! This is one of my favorite things to track in college sports, coaching changes. It’s kind of my MO. While we all loved Craig Smith there are plenty of good Big Sky and Big West options out there. If they would’ve hired Smith a week ago, my top choice would’ve been Shantay Legans at Ea...

Lots of posters on their board like Choate. None of them go by the user name mtag which surprised me. Hey now  I take a couple weeks off from the board and this is how I’m treated In my absence 😂😂😂 Even though I advocated for Choate here, this is his dream job. Anderson's name was thrown around a couple of times, but honestly how many people (outside of those in the know) actually thought this guy would be the next head coach of our beloved aggies?

Re: Blake Anderson??

Ok, here are my general thoughts on this hire. This is a good hire, not a great hire. It was clear all along that Hartwell wanted an offensive minded coach, and for good reason. it just bothers me so much that he was dead set on getting an offensive minded coach that he didn't really give a sniff at...

Re: Coaching Candidates

k Whats the hurry. There are only 4 division 1 coaching vacancies. Vanderveldt will get the first choice with the money they have to spend. The other programs looking for coaches only pay in the 500k range. From a money standpoint we should be attractive. We should be able to find and Hire a good c...

Prediction: Jamey Chadwell will be coaching Tennessee either next year or the year after. Tennessee is currently 2-8. If Pruitt isn't fired after this year, he'll be on the hot seat next year. Chadwell is from Tennessee and played college ball in the state. I would love him, but he is going to be m...

This coaching search is an absolute mess! This is what happens when the AD refuses to give any information at all, you have a bunch of speculation. I also do not believe that Buffalo is harder to recruit to than USU. I agree with that statement. I don't think it is increasingly easier to recruit to Buffalo as well. I don’t think it’s easy to recruit to any MAC school. Short of it being my only offer or wanting to stay close to home, what kid i...

So if Harrell told them no thank you, then that means we didn’t get our first choice. That means this is gonna potentially open up the door for guys like Choate, Hill and Maile. Of what not to do in this coaching search. They just had to hire a former player who in my opinion, was not ready to be a head coach yet.
