Re: Maile's response to Shelley's mom
Well fighting with your teammates is a good reason Cussing out your coaches another Acting like a spoiled brat on the sidelines, pouting and isolating himself while the whole team is struggling would be good My favorite:: not throwing the ball to a player(s) because you dont like him and letting th...

1.. Andy Avalos (DC-Oregon) 2. Marcus Freeman (DC- Cincinnati) 3.Curt Cignetti (HC- JMU) 4. Jay Hill (HC- Weber) 5. Graham Harrell (OC-USC) (we're too cheap) I am no authority on coaches for sure....just experienced a few of the names noted during Broc's recruitment in 2018/19. Broc was super big o...

Re: Will our O Line block better.....
Linemen need to have a good feel for what a QB or rb is going to do. We've had QBs in the past who were all over the place back there, and they tended to get sacked a lot. There's the effect of a QB's demotivating the line by behavior, of course, but we don't even need to go there. Fact is, JS and ...

Say what? Jordan told me we’re good to go & reserved my tickets In situations like this it would be nice if they'd just let the parents in. There's plenty of room for them to spread out and you could do it with minimal staffing. Many schools have been allowing specific staff and then family/parents...

I will say, feeling zero fan anxiety going into a game knowing the outcome is certain has....a strange appeal. It actually kind of does. I am still going to watch our games and have zero expectations. Last night by the second half I wasn't cheering for a victory, I was just hoping Shelley passed fo...

Re: If another quarterback is decent
So I think it interesting how amazing our quarterbacks are when they sign a loi with us, but either can’t cut it when they have the chance or, not good enough to get the chance. I don’t get it. We have tried two of them so far this year. Shelly hasn’t worked out yet, and Peasley needs more time to ...

Re: QB, Talent, Coaching and Circumstances
That was really par for the course against Boise State. Unfortunately we are a few steps below them. Recruiting rankings certainly aren't everything, but chances are if you recruit much better than another team you are going to beat them the majority of times on Saturday. Here are some recent recru...

.02 cents from Aggie pops!
Full disclaimer here; feedback is very welcome. Not one with shallow feelers!!! My first full Aggie game and really excited I was to watch Broc play earlier tonight. I can tell you he felt bummed with the L but said the team wasn’t holding heads down at all on the bus home! I’ve read the posts after...

Re: Covid impact on USU vs BSU
There was an outbreak at the LLC where the freshman football players live. This is accurate; not sure on the numbers but there is talk of moving the freshmen players from that dorm location at some point this season; possibly into apartments/housing off-campus. Not a bad idea to keep the players to...

Re: 5,500 fans at home games
The latest announcement of new restrictions makes it look bleak for any fans being at the game. Actually it is the opposite. We could have more fans at the games now than the old system of just 6000 people. The emphasis now is on having the 6 feet of distance between individuals not in the same hou...

Per hartwell only 3 other mw schools allowing fans in Wyoming and the two Nevada schools. I would have thought Air Force would let in the cadets at least. Kind of surprised no on Boise. Don't know the UNLV/UNR allowed attendance but WY is letting in 7k and AFA is allowing cadets and by roommates 2x...

Maybe we’ll offer them a 3-2 deal, or a 2-1 deal? They need us more than we need them, they can enjoy their new kinship with the Sun Belt and Conf-USA. If you watched ARMY this weekend; their defense is LEGIT....and their offense is always ugly to prep for....I am sure the CADETS will handle BYU ea...

Re: Extra Year for Fall Athletes
As far as I can tell, the process is going to look a lot like this: 1. Figure out which seniors you consider major contributors 2. Determine which ones want to come back 3. Analyze scholarshipped students FR-JR and pick out non-developers for "coaching out" 4. Calculate how many scholarships are fr...

I didn't want to chime-in too early because I was so angered at the politics which go into so many decisions....everywhere right now! I think model the Big-12 or even ACC......100% I propose keeping our current MW schedule (8 teams) and add two (non-conference games) to make it a 10-game season. Push the start dates back coup weeks if that's needed I guess; since they are pushing fall camp back for several more weeks and I know th...
