Re: Breaking the press

The notion that Stew’s teams were good against the press is comical. They had their most successes against when Tai Wesley was used as he could see over the Defense

Rollie is gonna be good but I think we are being too hard on Anthony. He only scored 6 yes but Rollie had just as many turnovers. Anthony had 5 boards and a steal. He will be fine.

I think Anthony is going to have a big impact and overall the team will be better. It may take some early season hits but in the long run they will be better.

Was there for 2014 and 2018. Both were great fro different reasons. I enjoyed 2018 a little better because it was pure dominance. That and the coug fan next to me was an (I can't express myself without swearing). It was fun to wish him on his way as he left early.

Re: Teams you do/don't want to face in NCAA tourney

If Hagans is playing wouldn’t want UK he would have stolen the ball from Porter 10 times before half.

If we get the 8/9 line wouldn’t mind Cincinnati if they get in.

Re: Sam Merrill's draft potential?

Sam has a decent shot of being drafted. Think he needs to decrease his body fat% as much as anything. His game is similar to Tyler Herro. Herro is quicker and longer than Sam but I would say Sam has a more consistent shot and is a better ball handler.

Re: Our NCAA Tourney struggles

The game USU should have won is the one against Kansas State. You had a senior led team with a pg that had a very strong year. Team came out shell shocked. It was Kansas in 2002 or 2003. They made it to the national championship. Desmond Penigar had a 3 to tie it at the buzzer but missed. The game ...

I'm not sure I want my 7'+ center taking 3s ever. Takes him further away from where I need him, in the post and rebounding. Or catching it inside and kicking it out when it collapses. It should be a rarity that he's shooting 3s. He should focus on his down low game and defense. Our offense works th...

We need Anderson to play and play with confidence. He will be needed vs. Mitchell if we match up against SDSU again. That guy has abused Bean twice and been the big difference in the game. Anderson is the one player with the strength to guard him.

All about expectations. During Stews reign people would go nuts over another 20 win season. On pace to do just that. Team controls their own destiny and has a chance to earn the 2 seed in the conference tournament. Not as good as we all hoped but going into conference play the team looked to be on t...

Re: Team Chemistry is way off

Smith is not disengaged. He was halfway on the court half the time vs SDSU. 1. Noticed last year after someone went to the floor the other 4 guys would run over and help him up. Every time. Not seeing that as much this year. 2. Shooting has been ice cold. The key wing players have shot 30% from the ...

Team will be fine. Team shot poorly and Bean who has been great all year struggled a little. As said SDSU is legit. Flynn is extremely quick and shoots well.
