Re: Vote for Utah’s Best College Players - KSL

I don’t mind trying to come up with clever ways to pass the time, but this is a gigantic joke of a bracket. How the hell did Tyler Haws make the list over a myriad of other players?? That’s just one of many in that bracket that’s just baffling. I’m ticked I even gave KSL a click on the page.

I really hope this is right. It would be fun to see this team in the tourney again. I love that he has 2 of the 4 #1 seeds being from non-power conferences. It makes me smile.

Re: Boise fighting the MWC

I just looked up pictures of that Boise St Va Tech game and from what I saw of those google pics, while the BSU contingency looked like a good turnout, it is a far cry from 75% blue. They rarely fill their own stadium let alone packing the house of Fed Ex field. Again, BSU has good support, but we h...

Re: Prima Donna support group

Having lived in Iowa and Alabama for the past 12+ years, I can say that almost nobody East of the Intermountain West cares about Boise St. Yes, a renegotiated contract might be smaller, but I don't see BSU being worth 50% of the MWC value. Then again, I'm not a TV network expert, so who knows? :noi...

Re: Boise fighting the MWC

I have read the contract with the MWC and BSU it would appear that the conference will most likely lose, so I expect a settlement to be made out of court. If BSU were to join the AAC we would lose up to $2 million per year on the new T.V. contract. I would doubt they even need to pay a exit fee if ...

Go easy on Anderson. Childs was held in check very well during the first half. The second half is when he opened it up. Bean getting those quick 3 fouls was killer.

Re: Some actual Basketball talk: BYU vs USU

Man!! Reading this post makes me wonder why I’m even going to the game tonight. It’s been mentioned that the team needs confidence, but what about confidence as fans? I get it that we need to have honest discussion about the Aggies abilities, but at some point I would hope we put all that aside and ...

Some of you guys have been a little slow to realize just how bad this team has become. This was never going to be a good game. Hopefully next year is better. Re: The bottom line

I've never felt SDSU had a strong following, where is that money coming from? Corporate sales? For the simple reason they are in California. It’s more expensive because there is so much more money in that area it’s not even fair really to compare them to the Aggies. Never would we measure up to the...

I like our traditional uni's. Speaking of Uni's, I'm a big fan of the Wyo uniform. I love their cowboy logo and think their colors look cool especially in this period of neon colors and Christmas ornament helmets
Are you feeling ok?? Wyoming's colors are disgusting.

Re: 2020 Hoops Early Signing Period: Who We Are Expecting

What are the chances we get Hall? I know his high school coach really well but he won’t crack on what Hall is leaning toward. The only thing he will divulge is USU wants him and is making that known to him. He says Hall is a legit D1 athlete. He plays high school ball down the street but unfortunate...

Re: AF vs NM rescheduled

I’ve got to admit that I’m a little surprised by AFs reaction to this. Given the institution they are, you would think they would have more tact when it comes to this kind of stuff. Of course, it’s not that surprising when you consider they employ Troy Calhoun is their coach. He’s a real piece of st...

. Ena turned a stellar outside linebacker (Galeai #10) into an undersized defensive end with his 4 down set. Amen to this. Galeai has been completely misused and a non factor this season. I forgot he was even out there This is a huge shame. Tipa is an immense talent who wreaked havoc on the opposin...

I’m not so sure..... ybu was dropping 8 and rushing 3 most the night and didn’t have a very hard time getting to Love.

Re: As poorly as the coaching staff is handling this season

I was impressed by BYU’s play calling. The play on one of their short touchdowns in the south end zone was brilliant. It was a tunnel screen kind of play where the receiver came back toward the QB along the line of scrimmage with a wall of blockers. That kind of play would be brilliant in our playb...

I boo’d the time out but I think it was totally fine to call a time out with Love still in (he should not have been jn). Also, if you get a pick you take it as far as you can. The “injuries” bothered me. 5 “injuries” ALL on first downs. To be fair the last one was legit but you can’t cry wolf and n...

On an overall team performance basis, I don’t think it will make a difference. There are too many issues that need to be fixed and Love is only one of them. Having said that, the above arguments are pretty good so I’m all for giving Columbi a chance. What’s the worst that could happen.......we play ...

No, I haven’t forgotten how bad that era was. I sat in Romney stadium as a student for nearly everyone of those games between 2002-2007. We are obviously not that bad but the (I can't express myself without swearing) kicking in the AF and ybu games have sparked old awful memories of those times.

Re: Zero Defense

Disappointing to say the least. Especially when the coaching staff talked about how much they prepared for Air Force since spring. It felt like the defense was on their heels from the get-go. It felt like there was little to no preparation for this game. Air Force made us look bad, really bad.
