Re: NET formula

It's important to remember that the NET is a RANKING not a Rating. If other teams pass you, your actual net calculated rating (which isn't published) could stay the same but your net RANKING goes down (drop from 23rd best to 24th best team for example). It's different than the RPI which was a specif...

Re: 3 calls that HURT

The refs were very reactionary instead of actually calling what they SAW on the court. A few plays come to mind: The errant pass directly out of bounds was so bad that I even assumed the Aggies must have deflected it. The ref obviously thought the same and even though he didn't see an Aggie touch it...

Potter looked like a good player to me but had stuff on his shoulder and just came off his mission. Potter should be our 4 and 5 positions next season since he has the size to play both.

Seemed like he was still badly injured tonight and I don't think he could've shot the ball if he wanted to. At least not accurately with his ribs in that situation. Jones has been a good distributor for us this year but he wasn't healthy enough to help the team tonight.

Aggie legend! I'm looking forward to seeing his number retired in the Spectrum one day. to see production from the 3 spot with Bairstow starting. The last few games with Miller starting we've got nothing out of that position. Also, on a different note, did the young center from Sweden on NM's team remind anyone else of Gary Wilkinson? He looked just like Big Red. I mentioned it over a...

i hope so, we will find out tomorrow night. New Mexico will be a very tough game, they are always tough to beat in the pit. 3 point % is the key. If we hit our 3 point average % we will win. If we shoot like we did against AF it will be a blow out. With the exception of last year when we beat them ...

How is buyout money handled by the Athletic Dept? Is it just put into a general use fund and used as needed? Or is there a separate war chest that locks the money away for basketball and football salaries? I don't know for sure, but I believe it stays within the sport that received it and is used t...

I agree it would be nice to reward the assistants for keeping the grades up. Nice to see that coach got some nice bonuses for all the accomplishments this year. Re: Recruiting

The fact that essentially all of our 3 point shooters are shooting above 33% is a very GOOD thing! Shooting 33% from 3, while not GREAT is still the equivalent of shooting 50% from 2 which is pretty darn efficient. We have several players shooting tremendous percentages from 3 this year. That's why ...
