Re: Visitors this weekend?
More questions than answers: 1. Are both brothers signing? 2. Are these the two supposedly spotted at Herms? (also reported that they weren't white...so more questions there??) 3. Is this one of the two Aggies22 said would be announcing this week? is the brother the other one? or is there some othe...

The real "state of the Program" right there.EngineeringAggie wrote: ↑April 25th, 2024, 10:38 pmVaughn has the talent, but not the size. Next year we’ll have draft picks with Royals and Ike. Potentially others too. We’ve been developing NFL guys. It’s just that they leave us for more money.

Re: Jordan freaking Love!
Heard the Vegas odds for the 2025 Superbowl came out and Green Bay has the 7th highest odds. Not bad for JLove, especially given that nearly no other team would trade skill position players (WR, RB, TE) with Green Bay. Rodgers had better skill position guys and he always complained about it but JLo...

Re: Roddie Anderson lll
We have Albury and we are taking one more point guard and Roddie Anderson isn't him. If you had to grade Roddie versus the new point guard (not Albury) who would you grade higher? Kinda feels like a loaded question. I cant imagine 22 would come right out and say that Roddie is better than a recruit...

I'm surprised that Javon Jackson entered the portal and hasn't indicated that he'll be back yet. Is there any prevailing thought on if he's gone gone or just in the portal for now? Perhaps I'm getting greedy... :) I - for one - love Javon Jackson and thought that he was really turning into a solid ...

Re: Great Osobor
Great is a very good player. It also feels like he missed open layups in nearly every game.. I see him as having a career in Europe. Kentucky has traditionally had one and done talent going to the NBA. Saying Great is a great player for us but may not be a great fit at Kentucky isn’t an insult. Hel...

Yeah, Great was absolutely amazing. He had his way with most teams, even when he was doubled. And watching him single handedly take on LeDee was crazy fun! We want him back.

Random story of the day: My Brothers and I took an Uber from the Thomas and Mack Center back to our Airbnb last month during the MWC tourney. The Uber driver saw we were decked out in USU gear and told us that he gave our QB a ride some time ago. He remembered that his name was Bonner. The Uber driv...

Re: Great Osobor
IF Great returns, we would be heavy favorites to start the season, right? If he leaves, I expect our current roster to be in the top 5 again next season. I doubt we would be heavy favorites. We weren't always dominant last season, and Brown bailed us out more than once in the clutch. Very true. He ...

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
If Great leaves, I personally think a need is a bigger, more physical player in the post. I love Big Fish and the addition of Gateretse. But the MWC is a physical conference. Will Templin develop enough to play that role next season? I hope so. But I would like to see another big body veteran (maybe...

Awesome news! Thanks for the update 22.
I am excited that we beat out Florida. But it always brings me some extra joy seeing us beat out our MWC peers (Nevada) for him.

Re: Great Osobor
As much as I would like to have Great back, there is very little to no chance he comes back. Great is one of the top five transfers listed on ESPN’s list. My understanding is that every guy in the top 10 will make over $500k upwards to $1 million wherever they sign. We won’t spend that much on one ...

I would like to see home and homes against Weber and UVU I am 100% in favor of it when they are good. But if they are sub-150 in NET as they are currently, I'm significantly less enthusiastic. Playing Q3/Q4 games in OOC can basically only hurt you because a win counts for nothing and a loss is deva...

https://twitter.com/JonRothstein/status/1780628551370145917 Finally! A MWC player I covet. With Uduje already recommitted (and I'm sure no $$ to offer) perhaps there's not room for it - they play similar positions and roles. My guess is he is going to get paid somewhere and has it lined up already....

In today's world of CBB yesterday's corruption is today's sensible business practice. More and more get the feeling that Sprinkle is not well liked. I mean it depends what you’re looking at right? So we have 2 of 4 possible starters back and still have a chance on getting Great back and the best 6th man in the MWC back is Josh. Still, Mason, Fish, and Templin is a good start. Re: Aj Storr and going value of top players
All time great movie and story. I cant blame coaches or players for taking advantage of the current landscape, but it does sadden me that there is going to be less and less pride in Who they are playing for. That was always the beautiful difference between college sports and the Pro sports.
