IMO those hoping or counting on Zapala to be any kind of consistent contributor are going to be very disappointed. That includes Smith then cause in his own words Zapala “is going to be a star”. Smith has made a living off of recognizing potential and then maximizing it. I'm going to side with Coac...

I will be devastated if/when Smith leaves us. But to be honest, he is probably meant for bigger better things. I can definitely see him climbing the ladder to a big time blue blood program some day.

Re: SDSU game 2 predictions

If you get a chance to watch last year's MWCT Championship game (yea, right, who has that time?), the announcers make a point of SDSU winning their last 30 games (maybe 31?) when leading at half. That game broke their streak. This year they have added two more games where they led at the half - bot...

Re: Ashworth and Miller

In-conference stats, Ashworth is our #5 guy in points per game. Both Miller and Ashworth are shooting 40% from 3. Is it an overreaction on my part to think ashworth might be the most natural scorer on the team ? No. He makes it look effortless and takes what is given to him. If he was a few inches ...

Re: Masterful coaching job

Minnesota almost certainly won't be making a coaching change now and that is good news. Indiana might, but I doubt they go with a USU coach unless we go on a serious tournament run. Crean and Miller both had much better resumes than Smith does at this point. Iowa State could be a concern with that ...
