Re: Current State of USU Basketball

I would rather have Great, I don't know much about the guy from Stetson. I just think it's weird that he isn't bringing anyone with him. Maybe it's because all of his best players were seniors? Perhaps the jump from Youngstown State and the Atlantic Sun Conference is too big going to Utah State and...

Re: USU Transfer Portal Tracker

For those of you who seem to want this guy, what role would you see for Hall as an Aggie given who we know is returning? He's not a good PG and we now have Albury so the #1 is not an option, we have Falslev returning at the #2 who is already a better scorer and finisher at the rim than Hall, and Ian...

Re: Hillstead Transferring

Man, this has to hit BA pretty hard. Hillstead was his guy. He hyped him up at every chance he had. I think he has really nice arm talent and could buy a little time in the pocket when needed, but he just doesn't have the size needed at this level to be the consistent guy we need at QB. I also agree...

Re: 2024 USU Hoops Coaching Carousel

We need Haslam. Is there even a chance of that?? Nope. He has a new gig. It's just not for me to disclose where. Did he have a spot here and choose this other opportunity or did he not have a spot here at USU That I'm not 100% sure on yet. I would say his move is a step up in perception and a step ...

Let's keep in mind that is the price he requested to keep him at BYU. I agree with him; you'd have to pay WAY over market value for me to be at all involved with that school.
 true. Perhaps he's giving them the "I don't want to be here" premium price.

I get the impression that Calhoun is not going to "counsel out" anyone. Kentucky is really striking out with their coaching search. The chances of Pope going to Kentucky just went up. If Pope goes to Kentucky, we have a chance to pick up BYU player(s) and/or recruit(s). Nobody wants that taint. I would take Isaac Davis. Dallin Hall would be nice to have. https://i.imgf...

Now that the draft is near, it reminds me that I was fairly critical of Love's potential as an NFL QB. I thought he had a horrible senior year at USU and his poor play cost the team. He also had some off-field issues. I didn't think he was mobile enough to be successful in the NFL. Turns out the Pa...

I'm not sure I have seen the signing of an average to slightly above average player blown so out of proportion as Cardenas to BSU. It's mind boggling how much they are trying to sell this as program altering. Almost as mind boggling as having to read about how they will once again be the "favorites"...
