Re: Depth Chart conjecture with shifting back to 3-4 base defense

Looking over this it doesn't leave me with much reassurance on the defensive side. I agree with Roy about the immediate needs left to fill too. LB's The worst is not feeling great about the LB position but then sitting there looking at all the LB's we have on the roster. There are a ton of guys that...

Smith is not disengaged. He was halfway on the court half the time vs SDSU. 1. Noticed last year after someone went to the floor the other 4 guys would run over and help him up. Every time. Not seeing that as much this year. 2. Shooting has been ice cold. The key wing players have shot 30% from the...

I think you've got to be real careful if you're a coach looking for P5 HC opportunity when considering WSU. This is basically the same situation as OSU where you are historically outmatched within your own conference and many of your recruits are located more near your conference mates. I think you ...

I don't recognize this Aggie team at all. I'm sure there are injuries, since coach has admitted as much, but I don't think they are playing as big a role as we'd like to believe. I don't believe the return of Queta has anything to do with our struggles either, we have lost games in the same fashion ...

Good info. ChicAggie! This is further evidence that Anderson should see more PT. This was talked about in the other thread but I feel like his involvement and production is key to this team's success. He's a skilled scorer, especially with his back to the basket. There has got to be a way to get Que...

Cooper Legas will be a phenomenal Aggie quarterback once Colombo graduates. Mark my word. He may get the opportunity sooner rather than later. A roster shake up sparked the run. Does this year’s team need a shake up? Should Bairstow or Anderson or Bischoff get their chance to play over other veterans? This is a good point. After Bairstow came in and hit that three against SDSU I thought he would see more time. He seems pretty aggressive a...

I do find it interesting that coach lets Miller play through quite a bit of failure and yet Anderson gets 0 PT in the 2nd half after a short stint on the court in the 1st. He can't impact the game if he's not our there. He just seems to have a smaller window for error than others for some reason. We...

Both this game and the Washington game, the refs let the play get really physical. Both times USU didn't respond well to the physicality. They got to get tougher that way. Being he is already knock kneed I think he just more susceptible to these type of injuries. His knee definitely got bent inward and it didn't look good nor did his reaction. I would not be surprised if that is the last we see of Queta this year.

I am a big believer in the idea that players take on the personality of their coach. Kent St. was no exception, they had coaches jumping up and down and getting involved emotio...

I am still not happy with situational play calling from Sanford but when you gain 29 first downs, put up 505 total yards, and 41 points you should win....especially against a team the caliber of Kent St.
