Re: Javon Jackson
Javon Jackson is definitely a MWC level backup. Surprised we didn't bring him back given the lack of PG's on the roster. Maybe it was his choice to move on though... He had no interest in being a backkup. I can't blame him. His development through the year was great. By the end of the season (and e...

I hope @ineptimusprime isn't too sad about this news. He feels upset when coaches counsel out players that aren't going to have an impact.

Re: Nigel Burris
He was a 3 and D guy and couldn’t do either at the MW level. Is a lot of that due to how Sprinkle reportedly treated his players, probably. Was there also a lack of MW talent in him, probably. I thought 22 said it was just a confidence thing? I thought the implication was that Burris had the ability.

Re: Aubin Gateretse
Huh. After watching his clip I'm struggling to understand why he wasn't even more dominant playing against bad teams and why he played only 24 mpg? He's got great size, he's coordinated, and seems to be a decent finisher around the hoop. Maybe it's simply just an issue of still growing into his bod...

The almighty dollar wins again. This is setting so many kids up for failure in life. I get that it sucks for us, but getting a million dollars to play for a blue blood isn’t what I think of as a kid getting set up for failure in life. More like a once in a lifetime opportunity to make a lot of mone...

I'd love it if Great stayed. But dude could get paid big money somewhere else. I can't even feel bad for him choosing three quarters of a million over us.
I hope he runs it back here. Regardless, I'll cheer for him wherever he ends up.

Can we pretty please, in a very polite and classy way, tell Jackson Grant to go somewhere like Idaho State where he can actually play. I mean, doesn't he want to play? See recruiting cycle, same 'prime hoping that non-contributors will be shown the door. I'm with you, though I will trust in Coach's...

I would very much like seeing Dallin Hall transfer to Utah State. I was sitting right next to Dallin when he was visiting Utah State as a junior in high school. Based on our conversation I would have bet money he was going to commit to USU. He loved the atmosphere and commented how much he would lo...

I'm not a big fan of Mark Pope, but I gotta give the man some props. He's done some great and creative recruiting while at BYU, and was ballsy enough to pull this job. He's gonna fill that bank account, but I don't think he's got what it takes to be Kentucky's coach. That having been said, I'm all i...

If Beelzebub came to me in a dream tonight and told me he'd make it so USU would make the tourney and win its first round game every year for the rest of my life, but could never advance past the second round, I would take the deal. Dropped to 22 in the Final Poll which will save USU $15k in bonuses with Sprinkle. He had a $25,000 bonus for being top 20 but only $10,000 for being top 25. That's assuming we have to pay the bonus at all since he terminated the contract before the poll came out. https://apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-c...

I didn’t have SLB engaging in xenophobia on my BINGO card today, but here we are. Then you don't make it to the Sandbox enough—it's practically a daily occurrence. About the only thing that makes sense on Dallin is that he was counseled out or just wanted to pursue a more clear path to playing time elsewhere. Wish him well either way. Dallin was a preferred walk-on. He was not on scholarship and Ian was the last scholarship player we brought in. New coach com...

I would also prefer that these "student" athletes start paying their own way in school. No more athletics scholarships. Ultimately, I would prefer that these teams no l...
