Re: ALL the Point Guards?
It's just the same sort of guy as Drake Allen: a mediocre shooter who happened to get lots of minutes. Idk, they just don't seem like scholarship guys. Maybe it'll run really well in Calhoun's system with a bunch of high-energy guards subbing in and out. I mean, I could understand a scenario where y...

Re: ALL the Point Guards?
I’ll be honest. I don’t get this signing. I don't either, though I'll trust in Coach/those who know better. But my concerns remain. Last season, Housley was 37.4% for all FGs, only 27.2% from 3-pt range, and only 62.9% from the charity stripe. He fouled out 3 times last season and had 4 fouls ten o...

Re: Great Osobor
Great is on the map now. He needs to go where he can star. If money being equal, I'm going with the Coach that designed the whole offense around me. That's true. If money were equal, Utah State would be about as good as it gets for Great. We compete at a high level against excellent opponets, and h...

Pandering to the home team. What else was he gonna say? I like USU better? It's athlete talk. Even if he preferred Logan in every single way, he should still talk about how much he enjoys the other place. Even if someone ended up in a dumpster fire of a town like Las Cruces, the place can still be ...

Any word on Sakho? Is there room on the roster for him? Thought he was a good rim protector. He’s not coming back Arguably a bigger loss than Great. Not arguable. He was a few inches bigger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Can we quit talking about how he flashed the student section?

Does anyone have stats on Calhouns rotations ?? Is he a frequent subs guy or a 35+ Minutes per game guy like Sprinkle ? I get the feeling we are going with a 10-man rotation. I'll believe it when I see it and not a second earlier. I get lured into this idea that we have so much depth we'll play a d...

I do think there is a solid chance they will be playing against each other in Logan next season. There is some guarded optimism in town that he will be coming on board for the Pack. But...youneverknow... Either way, they should be playing against each other in Logan. But either way, I think we can ...

Worst case, we get one really good player and one dedicated scout team player. To be blunt, every year we have guys on the team who aren't going to get on the floor. If that's what one half of the Welling turns out to be, that's no big deal. The fact that they're getting to play together is cool (li...

Javon Jackson is definitely a MWC level backup. Surprised we didn't bring him back given the lack of PG's on the roster. Maybe it was his choice to move on though... He had no interest in being a backkup. I can't blame him. His development through the year was great. By the end of the season (and e...

He was a 3 and D guy and couldn’t do either at the MW level. Is a lot of that due to how Sprinkle reportedly treated his players, probably. Was there also a lack of MW talent in him, probably. I thought 22 said it was just a confidence thing? I thought the implication was that Burris had the ability.

Huh. After watching his clip I'm struggling to understand why he wasn't even more dominant playing against bad teams and why he played only 24 mpg? He's got great size, he's coordinated, and seems to be a decent finisher around the hoop. Maybe it's simply just an issue of still growing into his bod...

The almighty dollar wins again. This is setting so many kids up for failure in life. I get that it sucks for us, but getting a million dollars to play for a blue blood isn’t what I think of as a kid getting set up for failure in life. More like a once in a lifetime opportunity to make a lot of mone...

I'd love it if Great stayed. But dude could get paid big money somewhere else. I can't even feel bad for him choosing three quarters of a million over us.
I hope he runs it back here. Regardless, I'll cheer for him wherever he ends up.
