Re: Home Court Advantage
Who was at the game? Was the crowd a big factor? Mitchell mentioned in the pregame that they weren't worried about the environment, but on TV it didn't sound too bad. I was there and though it was only ~1500 or so, the Spectrum acoustics do a good job of making the few sound much bigger than they a...

Home Court Advantage
How many schools actually have fans attending the games? We are all thinking it's too bad we don't have the spectrum rocking for when San Diego comes to town, but many of the teams we are playing have never had to play with fans before. So even the 16% is making a difference. I think the fans were a...

Re: Student Tickets
To be honest, I'm glad they don't sell out in 2 minutes. Because there's a wait time if you attend one game and being able to register to attend the second game. If they sold out super fast the loudest fans who show up to every game would only be able to go every other game.

Of course we all saw that Neemi broke the USU all-time blocked shots record over the weekend against Lubbock Christian....oops, against New Mexico .... breaking the record held by one Gilbert Pete, 1986-89. In 1986-89 I was in the Aggie wilderness -- living in Houston in the pre-internet age when c...

I hadn’t heard that Knight opted out for the rest of the year. Did USU break him? I highly doubt he stays at SJSU now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Knight was their top rebounder and went to the transfer portal. I wouldn’t be surprised if we broke him 😂 We heckled him and only him for two gam...

Yeah, it's hard to not watch Sam play, but at the same time, Forbes was playing pretty well last night. I doubt Bud wanted to mess with that. Sam will continue to get garbage minutes until he can show that he is more reliable and a better player than Forbes.

Yeah, Sam and Nwora should be getting Forbes and pats minutes! Forbes went 0-4 in 17 minutes and didn't play great defense.

Re: Our defense
The hardest working person on defense was Smith. He was totally amped up and animated every possession, especially the first half when our D was closest to the bench. It's obviously been a point of interest leading up to this game. Smith was fun to watch on the sidelines and it definitely translate...

Name 1 shooter that coach smith has recruited. I’ll hang up and listen. (Note that Ashworth was a Duryea commit.) I think worster can be one. i think worster can be a solid shooter as well. he needs to be more confident in taking them when he has seperation. Worster will be a shooter. I am certainl...

I highly doubt that anything happens to them. These things just seem to go away when byu is involved. I hope they get nailed big time but they'll just do the usual "internal audit" and you'll never hear about it again (until the next one). Exactly the way these things play out. After their own inve...

Malachi Flynn had 17 points in 19 minutes tonight. 7-12 from the field, 3-8 from three That because Sam isn’t guarding him anymore. Sam should be playing with Flynn at Toronto. Idk why my Raps drafted fellow MW guard Jalen Harris one pick before Sam. He hasn’t even contributed this preseason. I've ...

Not sure if anyone else noticed, but Jordan Norwa (the 45th pick) got burned quite a few times on defense there at the end as well. From what I saw no one scored on Sam.

I saw south dakota state lost big to an 0-5 south dakota team last night. Woof. That game was just bad news for us. They really aren’t that good. I watched them the next day after they played us and they got run by a really average SMC. For whatever reason, we seem to have a few games each year aga...

Bosie pulling out the win with the game still close actually is the ideal scenario for me. Means Bosie isn't that much better than us and BYU still lost. In my opinion.ProvoAggie wrote: ↑December 9th, 2020, 9:06 pmI'm always going to cheer for a conference school and I'm always going to cheer against BYU so the decision tonight is easy.

He was on the bench at the BYU game. Shulga was not there either tonight. I assume it had to do with Covid, but the only one I know for sure that had possible Covid exposure was Marco.

I was talking with a guy once who played college ball. He got offered to be a walk on at USU and some other schools in Utah. I thought Queta travelled on this play 😬 No, but he stepped out of bounds. He has a tendency to step out of bounds before big dunks, good thing the refs we not watching. I'm not seeing either of these? He dribbles the ball. I also feel like the games follow the same script. We get down big, claw back, then have no more gas to close it out. Last year we had a guy that could create his own shot and was good at making 3 pointers. I think that's the difference this year. Also, we can't even figure out who are fifth starte...

The Utah State coaches have made a mistake by not working Shulga into the rotation more. Why? Who else is going to consistently or potentially consistently knock down threes? Not Anthony. Not necessarily Miller. Not necessarily anyone else. I'm hoping they work him and ashworth in more the rest of ...

Assuming those are Koby's vs Rollie's stats I would say a significant difference would be the quality of opponents played as well. These last four games have been against decent opponents whereas normally the first few games are tune-up games.

We had three posessions in a row when we were tied at the end where we ran great offense and got great shots. Some of the best offense of the game I thought. Unfortunately we couldn't hit the shots. That and the free throws doomed us. I think if we have Coach Smith, we win. No particular reason, I ...
