Re: Drake allen
I think the biggest thing is probably that their is no obvious difference maker in the group. We will see, there are still several spots to fill. Imo we still need a good shooter wing type, unless everyone starts shooting much better. I mean, I think Albury and Gateretse look like significant diffe...

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
Something to keep in mind is that Great and Amari play the same position, Amari is less of an offensive force but is a great defender and rebounder, exactly what fits well in Popes system. Great doesn’t fit well in Popes system and I think this commitment is a good thing for our chances of a Great ...

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
It's a little frustrating too. When I look at the updated list that 22 has posted there are only 5 guys coming back and it doesn't seem like enough positive news about guys coming in to offset the guys not coming back that we know or were looking forward to. I hope this changes soon. We need to sto...

Calhoun has researched past posts and is just going with 7 guys next year so we all don't get excited about how much depth we have only to find out we don't.

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
I've learned a valuable life lesson and everyday tactic from SLB. Anytime I get busted saying something stupid or being completely unrealistic and wrong about something, I just yell..."PARODY". Having o% accountability for my actions has given me a new lease on life.

Every once in a while there is the opinion that there are a few closet zoobers on this forum. After the last few days I'm starting to think that might be true.

Re: Our new PG
I put myself out there in backing Brito, Bean, and Shulga while some or most depending on the player attacked those players and myself. I project that next season that Templin will get 15 points per game while being the top rebounder in the MWC. And I project that if that doesn't happen you'll say ...

Honestly SLB, is it even remotely possible for someone not to agree with everything you say 100% without throwing a hissy fit and dredging up (I can't express myself without swearing) from year's past? General consensus is Templin is a nice player who could develop into a really good player but MAYB...

Remove the damn ybu tag from these kids and you would take any of the three of Hall, Chandler and Robinson. Not saying they would come here but that wasn’t the original question. I get that ybu can suck a wet fart, but some of you need to look objectively at some of these players and accept that th...

In BSU's case with Degenhart, Agbo, and Stanley on their last year, they might feel their window is too small to wait on Roddy to get better. Balls to the wall approach. Lot of talk that it isn't the NIL per se, but rather how he's spending it. He keeps throwing money at 5 star high school recruits while his peers are spending theirs on 22-24 old experienced players. It worked a few years ago, but now guys can stay in school and still make good coin.
