Re: Zane Martin

I suspect he had to finish up a class or 2 this summer to graduate. Now he is a grad transfer..He is a solid player and my guess he will land at a P5 school for his senior year..Of course, it is entirely possible that college sports will all be shut down for a few years anyway..

The Vegas Coach just..

shut down summer workouts and sent all his players home. May not mean anything but I am thinking basketball will get moved to the spring.

In some circles where it is spoken of in hushed tones; Size Matters. But it is not true in every case. If this kid has game he is tall enough. Speaking of short basketball players, Jazz Johnson, who is probably around 5'8 or 9 just signed a very nice contract for a team in the top league in Italy. ...

Nvspuds, have Flynn and Harris gotten invites? I saw them on the list of potential invitees, but haven't seen anything official that they were invited.
I don't know..I was just going off the list posted here..I would guess Flynn is a pretty sure thing and Harris is a possible..

The star system always seems a bit suspect to me. However, looking at that list above it appears that 3 MW coaches thought this kid was pretty good.

Good for him, always cool to see a kid fulfill a dream. I hope he tears it up, except the 2, maybe 3, times he plays against the greatest school in the MW.
So you hope he sucks against Nevada? Thanks man..

Re: Interview with Hoops prospect R.J. Keene

He left after Alford got hired and I thought he might stay because Alford recruited him to UCLA. Alas! As for his usage under Muss, I would have liked to see him get more playing time but he was the only underclassman on the active roster. At that time Mussleman really preferred the smaller, positio...

Re: Interview with Hoops prospect R.J. Keene

That sets up an interesting scenario. It would seem nigh on impossible to land a 4 star with multiple offers from solid programs to come to Logan to redshirt. In addition, it is possible that this kid along all he other high school players in the nation won't get to play this season

Aggie fans will be required to only be obnoxious to each other instead of visiting players and fans. For example, you can mercilessly ridicule folks at the local ice cream shop for lax social distancing and sprinkle choices..

So...If my math is correct..

and it rarely is...... Basketball could still start a conference only season on January 7th and have the 20 game schedule you guys prefer. 10 weeks, 2 games per, no byes. That puts you into the first week of March. That might not leave room for a conference tourney, though. Schools could fit a confe...

There are guys in the NBA who aren't good defenders. There are guys who aren't all that athletic. It just depends what teams are looking for. In Merrill's case, he is a tremendous shooter. He can put the ball on the court and get his own shot. He is a willing passer. He is an absolute dead eye from ...
