Re: Roooooockkkk Challllllkkk, Jayhawwwwwwk, KUUUUUUUUUUU

Dear USU Fans, I was heading to the hospital today to get checked for a concussion from a recent fall when I noticed this thread. I quickly posted and then headed to get checked out. My frontal lobe, which was responsible for reason and logic, was not functioning. After the doctor hit my head two ti...

Re: Roooooockkkk Challllllkkk, Jayhawwwwwwk, KUUUUUUUUUUU

I get it, but this is the most likable BYU team I've seen in a long time. Kalani Sitake is great, and Roberts (receiver) is fun to watch week in and week out. He doesn't even draw stuff all over his arm with a Sharpie like most BYU players used to. And seeing Kyle Whittingham chuck that chair after ...

I will donate $100,000 dollars to the NIL fund if we win this game. However, for every point we give up, I will subtract $10,000 from my donation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I hope you got the funds, the team has been talking about pitching a shutout I'm hearing Alcorn forgot their uniforms...

Is this one of those drinking games where you try to bounce a quarter into a bowl to see who drinks the next shot?

That’s the only bowl game possible this year.

I don't understand why anyone thinks the Dakotas or the Montañas would be any better than Wyoming at the FBS level. Small population base, out of the way, small alumni bases, etc. We won't need to be considering any of those schools. I agree, but Bozeman and Missoula are great college towns and are...

Why on earth would we be worried as USU fans? All long-time fans of USU know that conference realignment has always been a positive change for USU. We have never gotten screwed or had realignment blow up in our faces. :joking: Seriously, though, I voted for the last option because I am not optimist...

Re: Exit Fee Question

My exit fee question is - IF we had been offered 30 mil to stay in the MWC, would we have done so? No. UNLV couldn’t afford not to stay. AFA leveraged a potential move to the AAC to their benefit. Knowing what we know now, that’s an interesting question. If the PAC is going to have a much better TV...

What would have likely happened had we signed with other MW schools? Reverse merger?

Also, how many years will it take in the PAC to break even as compared to the MW and sharing exit fees.

Ugg, this isn’t as fun as a few days ago.

Have to assume that the 10 million going to schools other than us affected our decision to bolt. We easily have won more conference championships across all sports than the two “flagship” schools. Adding both UNLV and UNR would help distance PAC from MW, and hopefully strengthen basketball to attract Gonzaga.

I’m feeling pretty empty tonight from the roller coaster we have all been on, especially since we knew ahead of time how the ride would end. Honestly, there is part of me that is happy that Sprinkle left because I was worried that USU was going to overpay him based on one lucky season. If he became mediocre with several years remaining on a $2 million per year contract, that puts our program in a very bad spot. He also turned Montana St...
