Re: The biggest problem with the University AND Frank having attorneys

The way attorneys are, I wouldn't put it past Frank's attorney to have a conversation with Nick Heninger about the call, call that a billing hour, then a conversation with Shaq Bond about it, another billing hour, then another billing hour for the conversation with Elijah Shelton and so on. And on ...

That I agree with completely. The most likely thing is words were said that were meant to mean one thing and they were interpreted by one or more on the call as something else and everything just spiraled out of control from there. I do believe that is most likely. I wish I had your ability to see ...

Can someone explain to me why coaches “wear” masks when they only cover their face when no one is around? Anytime they are talking to anyone, they pull their masks down and completely expose their mouth and nose to everyone around. Theatre Ha, I actually agree with 78 for the first time.

Re: Transfer Portal Explosion tips job to Canales

Every time there's a coaching opening there's a wave of sentiment for former Aggie players and coaches. Remove the association with USU and no one would think any of these candidates are worth considering. Canales association with USU is the only reason we have a chance at him. Yes remove the senti...

Re: Transfer Portal Explosion tips job to Canales

So Canales has been the Utep Offensive Coordinator for the past 3 seasons. In 2018, Utep went 1-11 and had the 127th ranked scoring offense in the country. In 2019 they went 1-11 and Utep had the 119th ranked scoring offense in the country. This year they are a little better at 3-4, but have the 11...

I really like Coach Smith. We'll enjoy him for one more season, then he's gonzo for huge money. We'll see then if you wish we had someone stay. Up and coming is the phrase. I would be stunned if Canales were interviewed. As has been said, Hartwell will go after an up and comer. IMO, turnover is a big deal, and would be a dealbreaker for me in his case, at least for a HC position. He’s been around 35 years in and out of about 12 different programs. No thanks. Again lac...

Re: What the......??? Wells may have just sealed his fate today too.

I can see the rationale. You need a touchdown and a field goal. If you don't want to onside kick, get the 3 as soon as possible. You then have plenty of time to kick deep, hold them (even gives you a cushion if you give up a first down), get a punt deep on your half, and drive the length of the fie...
