Re: I support the Football teams decision not to play!
The statements are devastating! Concern #1.) "Pres. Cockett vehemently denies making such a statement, instead stating that she said that Cache Valley was not inclusive, " Umm? So why am I supposed to feel ok about this comment? How does this comment promote unity and love? :headscratch: Most of al...

Re: Matt Mitchell
Based on these reports i would guess he plays. If SDSU wants any shot at the regular season crown this is a must win game for them. It will be a battle, the aggies better be ready.

Re: Matt Mitchell
I have not seen any reports and I doubt that we will. Even if he is not playing I would think that SDSU would not want it out there. If I had to guess I would say he does not play. He seemed to be limping quite a bit leaving the floor. It is a really quick turnaround for Saturday morning.

So do you think Frank was malicious in this? I think Frank felt backed into a corner. And felt he had to defend himself. I have no idea what he and JH had talked about prior to this. I do know Frank executed several orders that came from above his pay grade. And took the heat and praise for it. I d...

You're right. But like I said. Swallow your pride, motivate the players to play and coach the f'ing game to finish the year like Brent Guy did. Instead, imo he looks like a crybaby who didn't get his way. LMAO.. It is a business. It is about money. There is no loyalty in sports. You have no idea if...

While I agree with Noelle's concern about being inclusive on this approach, this is a strange thread for me. Many on this board were complaining that the new Coach A wouldn't have enough of this strategy just a few weeks ago. I heard for years that Matt Wells wasn't doing it as much as people wante...

Two things: (1) How many of the players in attendance on the zoom call do you think were scrolling through their texts/social media on their phones? Can anyone honestly say that they do not tune out during zoom meetings from time to time to check their phones? These are 20 year old kids - they are ...

Re: Maile's "three pillars" recruiting strategy (from the report)
Is it clear to all that — you could win a few recruiting battles with a few kids who had emotion/social connections here (poly, rm, local). — that you can’t live on those three alone — those three connect the fan base to team a little bit. So ya, it can be an element of your strategy, not the entir...

Re: INNOCENT!
As I read the report, I see a huge failure by Hartwell to share that he knew the meeting was about Frank with Noelle. She went in expecting a different conversation and that contributed in large part to this misunderstanding. I didn't see anywhere that he shared with her that this was about Frank a...

Re: INNOCENT!
On Friday morning, Jerry Bovee contacted Hartwell and said, “[w]e have a problem.” He told him that the players were not going to play the final game. Hartwell believed the players were upset about Coach Maile not being hired as head coach. Hartwell contacted Coach Maile (after some difficulty) and...

One thing I have noticed over the past several games is how hard this team plays. Guys diving on the floor for loose balls, running hard off screens, playing hard-nosed defense, etc. I love it. I agree. These guys play hard and it is contagious. It seemed like this game was won last night on that p...

Re: Formal apology to Brock Miller
I don't recall many on here knocking his defense. I always thought he was a capable defender. Not Tyler Newbold/Pooh Williams level, but good. My beef is that last year it felt like he would shoot us out of games at times. This is true, He is taking better shots than last year. He is better at reco...

Brock is playing really well. He isn't the best defender but he is definitely not a liability out there. He stays in front of his man pretty well.

We dont have a dominating scorer but it is really balanced. I agree worster needs to improve on his turnovers. Overall this is a really balanced team. They are super fun to watch.

Re: Big Win!
Awesome win tonight. I love how our defense is playing. We are giving up very few wide open looks. They are playing so hard. On offense it was tough, although they are good defensively. Need to fix our turnovers and not get stagnant on offense. This game showed that the aggies have a good team. I am...

You guys are weird. I didn’t say she hated all Mormons. Relax. It’s okay if someone else hates your religion, hates some of the characteristics of its members, and speaks about it in social settings. I wouldn’t say she hates Mormons any more than she hates other religions. Obviously living in Utah ...

My guess too...and like I said, you can't say that. She has to know better. What in that statement could she have not said? Recent judicial decisions have come down on the side of saying you can NOT hire someone based solely on a protected class. The USU counsel and HR have made it clear that this ...

We will know where the aggies stand over the next 4 games. I do think this team is playing a lot better than the start of the year. If you have tickets to the game tonight cheer as loud as you can for 2-3 people to give us as much of a home court spectrum advantage as we can. I hope Smith has these ...

Aside from the Shelley disaster the rest of the Utah transfers were great. We can't lump in the school they came from. I would take Mariner and Repp players in a heartbeat.

1. I think Queta is going to have to dominate inside on defense. 2. Utah State needs to make three point shots and get open from there. 3. We can't let Shakel and Mitchell get hot from 3. I understand the points about turnovers, but SDSU doesn't really put a lot of effort into forcing turnovers. Th...

Keys against SDSU?
Wanted to get people's opinions on what are the keys to success against SDSU? I have not watched any of their games. I know they are always solid on defense. I think it is key we play solid defense (especially 3). I think we need to limit Mitchell. We need to shoot the 3 better and continue to rebou...
