Re: We are 15th in the NET

This Saturday is going to be a huge telltale sign for the conference. 9 quality games with multiple Pac12 and WCC match-ups.

Re: Shulga vs Wooster

How far can Shulga throw a football?

In all seriousness, I’d take either player. Both are heady stat stuffers and have great intangibles. Keeping Shulga definitely eased the pain of losing Rollie and it’s been fun to watch him develop.

Lunardi has the Aggies in his latest Bracketology as an at-large 10 seed (last 4 byes). Has us matched up against Iowa State in Columbus. SDSU is a 5 seed and the AQ from the MW. Only 2 MW bids. Other Teams of interest: Oral Roberts as 14 seed (aq from Summit) Bradley as 14 seed (aq from MVC) Iona a...

Re: Because I liked the kid...

I was a big fan of McBuckets and thought he could really develop. He was raw but guys with his athleticism and length don’t come around that often. It did take him longer than I anticipated to develop into a factor though. I’m not sure he would have been afforded the opportunities here. Probably wor...

This kid can play the bagpipes! Sign him! We should be able to incorporate that skill somehow to go along with a fire knife champ.

Bowl Eligibility Tracker

UTSA came back from down 17 to UTEP in the 3rd qtr to tie it up. Let’s go Roadrunners!

Update: UTSA completes the comeback and keeps UTEP from bowl eligibility.

UAB just win though so they claim a bowl spot.

San Fran

And I wonder where we will be able to watch that game, it isn't listed as a TV game on the schedule and being at a "neutral" site doesn't help much. I believe it is actually a home game for USF, but they are electing to play it at Oracle. Apparently they do that periodically. Anyway, I would suspec...

Streaming World cup

I try to like soccer, I really do. Every World Cup I get caught up in the build up and get excited to watch it, then I actually sit and watch a game and realize why I don’t enjoy watching soccer. Not sure how it became the most popular sport in the world.

Re: Aggies get one vote

It should be noted the MW preseason poll is just for the in conference guesses. It doesn't take ooc into account. Everybody plays a different schedule. At this point no school has exceeded or under achieved their conference rankings. Nobody has played a conference game yet. It is, in fact, impossib...

Maldonado went out with a nasty head injury early in their loss to Boston College. For some stitches and possibly a concussion (pure speculation). Not sure if he will miss any additional games or not, but that’d be another huge blow.

We have 3 teams from California in our footprint and only 1 bowl game there? This doesn’t make sense. Would love one in San Diego at Snap Dragon, or maybe the Bay Area somewhere (Oracle Field or SJSU), or even Fresno (Central Valley Bowl). Anyone up for a bowl in BC Place Stadium in Vancouver? Alford has great potential but I think we miss Tafisi’s lateral quickness and burst. Alford doesn’t seem to be able to change direction and well. He’s only a trie freshman so more time in the S&C program may help with that. He’s doing a nice job but expect he’ll get better. I hope Tafisi will be bac...

I’ve been high on Brock Lane but two personal fouls on back to back kickoffs is inexcusable. The first one was a flop by the SJ player but Brock didn’t need to even give him a reason to flop in the first place. I know Blake was livid at the officials after the second one but it was obvious on the re...

The quicker you can get back into the game the better. You’ve got to test the effectiveness of it some time. Talking about knee surgery of course.

I have mixed emotions about this game. Part of me is scared to death that Sparty is going exact revenge on us for drubbing them last year, but the inner most part of me isn’t worried as we have completely owned SJSU since joining the MW.

Question: We beat SJS. We then beat Boise. Does that mean we play for the conference championship and go to the LA Bowl? I don’t think there is a path for the Aggies. We could end in a 3 way tie with Boise and Wyoming if Wyoming beats Boise tomorrow and then loses to Fresno next week, but I don’t t...

I might be in the minority with this, but even though I hoped and thought he would stick around, once he left I really didn’t think much of it.
