Re: So, who do you want at DC?
Any chance we could get a d-line or linebacker coach from Iowa? i would prefer we hire a person who has had previous experience as a DC. I don't want someone who is getting their first shot at being a DC. Let’s get a guy who’s been DC at two or three G5’s and maybe a high end FCS recently. .......m...

We’ll see how good my source is. The players working with our collective to stay with USU were Switzer, Royals and Ike……fingers crossed.

Royals is MASSIVE. Again....confirming this is another one of the few that the Blue A Collective worked to keep.
Royals would likely be gone without the Blue A Collective in place.

For what it's worth .....I have it on pretty good authority that the Blue A Collective feels like it has enough to make competitive offers to keep a few top guys through the offseason.

While I certainly would not argue that Cooper can sling it like Jordan Love or even Logan Bonner...... Had he started each game this year, Cooper could be sitting with around: 3,000 yards, 25-30 TDs, 60%+ completion percentage - at this point in the season. **Disclaimer - I do think that pulling Coo...

In a major blow to those who are convinced BA hates Cooper Legas, coach announced today that Coop is the starter going forward given that he stays healthy, etc. I mean.....he also confirmed Hillstead is not available this week, and that Levi will be backing Cooper up.....So not like he had a choice

Re: Why is there a QB debate here after this game?
I wonder how the team especially the skilled position players felt about coach A starting a freshman after nearly taking out one of the leagues best teams the week before. I even wonder how Hillstead felt about the decision. I can’t figure out Coach A and his dislike for Legas. He led us to the big...

SHOULD we start Legas? Yes. WILL Blake start Legas? No. Blake has some kind of fetish about putting Cooper down. Blake Anderson is losing the locker room. Several players are upset with his handling of Cooper Legas and much of the team finds it distasteful that he has continuously called Legas out specifically and by name to the media.

60% of votes were dead right. If I’m Jalen Royals, I’m threatening to riot if Blake keeps trotting Hillstead out there. COOPER has been getting the ball to Royals. Hillstead has not and is not.

I would also start Cooper at this point. If Coop knows he's not starting Saturday, I'd be willing to bet people in his camp are already looking into transfer options. Re: Who would you start next game if both are healthy, Legas or Hillstead?
I think he made enough poor decisions, tonight, that Blake isn’t even really thinking there’s a decision to make. Coop could have easily thrown 5/6 picks tonight, if Fresno’s defense could have come down with them. Some really poor decision making and/or lack of skill on placement for several throws...

Depends on your definition of standard. Do you mean minimum acceptable result? Or what you expect to win? Or the average result over multiple years? I expect to be at least 7-5 most years, and be in the conference championship conversation every few years with a conference championship once ore twi...

Curious to see peoples thoughts.
I generally believe the current "standard" for USU football should be bowl eligibility (6 - 6 season).

Re: Bad starts to games
Seems 100% on bad coaching, to me. It's been a staple of Blake/his staff in his 3 seasons, here. There's been enough turnover and difference in personnel on the field in each of those 3 seasons, that the only common denominator is coaching. As has been said, Blake has specifically mentioned calling ...

Don’t worry everyone will pick USU in the pick ‘em to win next week.
