Re: Motivation and Belief

I believe a lot of Gary's success the first time around can be attributed to the amount of motivation and belief he instilled in his players. His team's were super motivated and had the belief that they could beat anybody. Question is with his return does he still have the ability to instill these ...

Re: A look at the Strengths & Weaknesses of the Wells regime

I like this list and think I agree with it for the most part. One little thing I would add, perhaps under the 'interview' sub-bullet, is that he was good with fans. Well, at least with me. I guess I've heard some here talk about a bad interaction with him. But I went to the coaches show at the Cafe...

If they haven’t repeated the MRI on his knee at least once since he’s been back they’re making a mistake. I would’ve had one ordered the moment he got stateside and with his slow progress and continued swelling I would’ve taken another view by now with either a third MRI or a CT Angiogram to evalua...

Re: Ingram transferring

Just because he’s going to TT doesn’t mean Wells did anything wrong. Ingram may have just decided grad school wasn’t going to work at Utah State and then contacted TT because he knows the coaches there. There isn’t always some deep conspiracy or evil villain in everything that happens in life even ...

I must not be paying close attention, but who else has left besides Ingram? Even with Ingram, our depth at CB was pretty scary thin. Here’s a post of mine from another thread addressing this exact question. Here's a list of players I'm referencing that we have lost since the end of last season that...

Is it because Wells is such a jerk and GA is a players coach? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I think attrition tends to be higher when a brand new coaching staff comes in. Lol, come on. You're using total stats when Zayne Anderson only played in 4 games last year? And if you had no idea he only played 4 games, then how can you even make an argument if he is or isn't better than Galeai when you clearly know nothing about him? I'll eat crow. The picks may or may not amount to a good player but getting those picks COMBINED with tanking, and I think Presti did a good job. Tanking can get them a superstar or two that they need.

He shouldn't be dancing. He just traded an MVP finalist for subpar draft picks, a potential player and a player who is often hurt. you get a parking pass because seats on the west side require a donation. East side does not require one of course one can make a donation and get east side parking. A lot of fake news there Stanford. 1- Connors did not turn down the job. Barnes didn’t offer it to him. It was Barnes’s who didn’t think it was a good fit. I will continue to get flak for it, but I still feel like this board is too hard on Barnes. Supposedly he would have signed Ben Howland if he hadn't gotten a job offer from Mississippi State. Even if you're part of the dominant culture (a mono-culture in all reality) it can still be oppressive. That's a bit hyperbolic, don't you think? I think we all know some LDS people who feel somewhat oppressed here in Utah by elements of their own culture. It can be pretty constant. Most will not a...
