Re: Down the road idea for a 10-team conference

My guess is that SUU will expand by a lot with so much growth nearby. It is something to an eye on, and as I said in the post down the road. I am currently living in St. George and I assure you that the growth is happening at Dixie. I think they will surpass SUU on all fronts, academics, athletics,...

I won as many Pac 12 road games last year as krysto did. He has to be on the hot seat.
I wonder if the U could even afford to fire him. His contract isn't trivial, even for a mighty PAC12 school. Last I saw, he was somewhere around the 7th highest paid college bball coach in the country.

Good luck convincing our new head coach of that though.

I’m calling it now. Aggies are going to come in with a vengeance and UNM will come in with swagger, but won’t be mentally prepared for the Aggies’ intensity. We’re gonna win this one. If not, then we should be glad for the NIT.

Re: WCC a Power Conference

They’re having a good year, but the MW is much closer to being a “power conference” than the wcc. Next year I think will be a breakout year for our conference. Not USU, necessarily, but I expect big things from CSU, UNLV, and Nevada. SDSU is always good. USU should be decent next year, but It will b...

Let the kid make his decision. He is fortunate to live in a state with 4 really good options to play college ball. It sounds like Weber isn't on the table. If he goes to USU, I'd be thrilled, he sounds like a fantasic player. The Aggie influence in Weber county is pretty good-- I had a lot of friend...

Unfortunately SDSU is still projected to get that #1 seed if they win out despite losing to UNLV Dayton unfortunately doest't have a good enough resume to surpass sdsu for that #1 seed(...

Queta has some great post moves.

Did you see that play by Bairstow in the first half? He drove in, stepped back, and elevated over his defend for a nice bucket off the backboard. That was an elite offensive play. Can’t wait to see him with some weight and development in a year or two.

With the boost in tv revenue, do we potentially decrease our money games in favor of home-home with low-tier P5 or AAC teams? Not saying we get rid of them completely, but maybe not every year.
