Maybe I’m remembering wrong... didn’t Gary reference these three pillars all the time during his first stint here? And I remember it being received very well by most usu fans? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk AND to Cocketts point, it didn't work out in the past either. We shouldn't pigeon hole o...

Re: Who the New Coaches Are (UPDATED)
Excuse the ignorance, I am the first to admit I know very little about football schemes and philosophy. (I am a big football fan, but have never played more than a turkey bowl). What is the point of having a inside and an outside linebacker coach in a 4-2-5? If there are only 2 linebackers on the f...

He definitely has the frame and athleticism. He is a very good passer and defender. His offensive development had been a bit slow and now he is a couple of years older. He sometimes has problems finishing in traffic and tries to finesse it when he needs to go strong. He has a good chance to get dra...

Re: Cash Gilliam
I have big concerns about running a 4-man front, but am hoping for the best. The 4-2-5 is a great defense if you have the right D-ends and great corners. If not it can get ugly fast. And finding those D-ends is the hardest part because they are in high demand, short supply and are probably the top ...

Yeah - Spartans getting embarrassed in the first quarter of their bowl game. A pick 6, a blocked punt that just got punched in, no offense whatsoever. In their defense, I believe they are missing 2 offensive lineman, a tight end, another receiver, defensive lineman, and both coordinators... I just ...

In my opinion, there's no chance that he would be drafted. Returns rarely happen on kickoffs it seems nowadays and he isn't a punt returner... I agree. He's got to have an additional skill. He really hasn't done anything else on any special team so he'd have to show as a free agent that he could be...

Re: Was Packers best for Love
IMHO Love was far from being an NFL starting QB when he was drafted. That might be a harsher opinion than I had with Boroughs, Herbert or other college QB's because I saw every one of Love's mistakes. What will make or break Love as an NFL QB will be his footwork. His maneuverability in the pocket....

It will take two years at a minimum. We should all be prepared for that now. Religious and cultural discrimination is bad and I’m opposed to that. Glad I got that out of the way. That statement was pure idiocy. In spite of the fourth paragraph, the first three paragraphs burned any hope of: "protect[ing] both the institution and players that I love." Frank likely just ended his career as a coach for quite a while. Had he thought about this a bit more he would have realized:...

My guess from Frank's statement and the news about an investigation that university counsel (and her own) aren't going to permit any such meeting anytime soon. This is in full litigation status.
