Re: The Portal giveth and the Portal taketh away

Aggies 22, so based on your list so far we have 2 Juco Cb’s above 6 ft transferring in for Spring, are we looking at any other sizable DBs always seems we lack height each year and it shows against the schools with good receiving cores, usually boise in years past. It's the size of the fight in the...

Prime as a coach is/was only as good as his son was as a QB. Is his son coming to Colorado also? he asked his son to stand up at the press conference and said that's the qb, so he's not giving anybody else a chance apparently. not that colorado has anybody worth giving a shot. He did say he’d make ...

This kind of discussion always frustrates me. Because if totally uninformed posters (not 22) recognize a good player, that player is ultimately too good to come here.

Turns into a list of players we won't get.

Re: USF game is a really good sign for this team

Always a good sign when Bairstow is finishing with baskets around the rim. I thought he and Shulga had really good games. USF had active guards, they played good defense and were offensive threats. They were the ones keeping our 3 point game in check. I also noticed that Splashworth was more than up...

That depends on the amount of money they are willing to dish out.
Stanford has $37.8 billion in endowments. It's not a money issue.

Bronco Mendenhall would be a great fit for them football-wise. Not sure culturally for the rest of the University Horrible culturally Stanford isn't far enough away from the stench for them not to know what a fraud Bronco is. Re: Scotty and Hans Yesterday

The issue we had leading into this recruiting cycle is we only had 13 or so players that were guaranteed to be leaving after the season. That means there were only 13 spots that needed to be filled. A number that low severely limits your ability to recruit. Will we have more? Of course we'll have m...

Re: Scotty and Hans Yesterday

The Stanford coach just quit and although he's not saying it publicly, mediots here say that the reason he's leaving is because Stanford can't (or doesn't want to) compete with the other 12-PAC teams in the portal. Example, USC brought in 26 players from the portal this year.

Really impressed with how we played today in the second half. We had our shot to win this thing and they had me believing we were going to pull this off. Stresing that I'm not comparing teams. Not comparing the teams... But speaking specifically about turnovers. The Warriors turn the ball over a lot also. Yeah. I'm with HickAggie. I think it's leading the nation in penalties or unnecessary roughness calls. The lack of discipline doesn't sit right with me. I think I've accepted Anderson's choice. Even though Bonner looked and played physically limited v UConn or Alabama, given his status, he probably deserved to play the whole Weber and UNLV games. Even though I accept the choices Anderson made with Bonner, I'm going to say he handled the situation po...

Fairly early in the game I noticed the SD player who went off with 43 points was at the free throw line and Ashworth waked behind him. You couldn't see Ashworth speak, but just after he walked by, the guy and his teammate who was in the camera shot cracked up. Big smiles.

There were questionable calls, but what I love about this team is that the players themselves step in and speak to each other when the call doesn't go our way. They clearly respect each other, and the simple interaction seems to stop any unsportsmanlike conduct.

I would expect a quicker than expected return. Ashworth seems to be that type of guy. There are also special shoes or braces that can help. Figure the coaching staff will be conservative this early in the season.

The victory alignment is that formation an offense uses when they are running the last seconds off the clock. I've noticed that our defense has a version of a victory alignment that allows the other team a 50-yard minimum running play. Banda gets 8-9 of our defensive players within a yard or 2 of th...
