Re: Denver

If we play about 1/2 to 3/4 as good as we did vs Weber, we could probably still win by double digits. Don’t want to take them lightly, but we should win pretty handily if we play somewhat well. But Montana State taught us that if they have one or two guards that get hot and hit everything...aka Frey...

Re: Rankings

It is crazy to think that we could be favored in every single game if we keep winning. At St Mary’s and Florida may be t he only games we aren’t favored, but if Florida drops another one or two and we keep winning, we may be favored too.

Wasn’t SUU the landing spot for J Knight 3?
Yeah. He scored in double digits the first game but only had 2 points vs Nebraska.

Coach Smith

What he has done for this program is incredible! Aggie basketball just feels so much different. I loved Stew and at times Duryea was not bad, but Smith's energy, passion, and mentality have done wonders to these boys. Listening to Abel Porter in the interview and the mentality of the team shows grea...

So glad we squeaked out the Montana State game. That would haunt us big time had we lost. I think it will help us in the long term as it opened our eyes a bit and what we should not do. That game and tonights game were complete opposites.

Another thing to consider is they adjusted the 3 point line further out for this season. I just saw a tweet that said how a lot of teams struggled today with 3 pointers and had a low 3 pt percentage. I guess Montana State must have been practicing the NBA 3 for some time to be hitting like they were...

Blessing in Disguise

Thoughts? I think we have a lot of potential but lack some athleticism. We need guys other than Sam to step up. Sam continues to find ways to score, getting to the free throw line TONS! Our posts are good at rebounding and blocking shots, but barely contributed on offense. This is why we NEED Queta ...

I've felt he hasn't really been stepping into his throws like he could be capable of doing. Which is crazy because he can sling a ball like 60 yards flat-footed. Agreed, and I think the lack of stepping into the throws is a result of happy feet. He seems to get carefree on short throws. He overthre...

Even if 6-6, would we want one? AZ bowl vs MAC team? I'd definitely want one, but I'm not sure we would be a big enough draw to get one. Lets remember we have only won 5 bowl games in USU history. So many teams would do anything to make a bowl game. So....HECK YEAH we want to make a bowl game!!!! W...

We aren’t too far off of what I thought we would be at this point. I thought we would be 5-3 with losses to LSU and then two losses to either WF, SDSU, AF, or BYU. Instead of only losing 2, we lost 3. If we can regroup and get all 4 of the last games this would be a really good season. If we win 3 o...

I'm fine Dwigt, but to use an excuse I heard a lot during my time at USU, it's fans like you that make other fan bases dislike USU fans. And I'd argue that fans booing injured opposing players that are injured (whether they actually think they are or not) is classless. But crap happens. Should the timeout have been called? Probably not. I'll be honest I wasn't paying too much attention at the end so I'm just reading between the line...

I felt this way after thinking about it last week but then realized that even without Queta, we got some darn good players.
