Re: Jordy Barnes
I wish Jordy would have had more time to find better options. We are royally (I can't express myself without swearing) him over. I think that kid from Cedar City got screwed even worse. He saw 4 different coaches at USU before playing a game and then got counseled out by coach no. 4. Talk about was...

Re: Concerns
While I’m pleasantly surprised how this team is shaping up offensively I’m concerned that we won’t be able to stop teams. 1. We lose Brown who locked down opposing teams best guards. 2. If we lose Osobor we lose our “presence “ in the middle defensively. 3. Losing Sahko hurts as well as he was a gr...

Re: “Way too early” Starting Five:
PG: Deyton Albury (6’2” , 190lbs) SG: Mason Falslev (6’3” , 203lbs) SF: Ian Martinez (6’3” , 185lbs) PF: Tucker Anderson (6’9” , 190lbs) C: Aubin Gateretse (6’11” , 215lbs) I’m inclined to see Tucker Anderson at the small forward position, though I’m hesitant about moving Mason or Ian to the bench ...

Re: Here is Hoping
Based on the turnover, and the great players we have returning, the football team has as much success as the basketball team did last year! The set the example right? I am excited to support all the players who have chosen to stay! I know, some of you will say, Football is different than Basketball...

All that snow right at the edge of the track, sun shining, both runners in shorts with no leg or arm coverage -yet only one "almost" puddle visible. looks suspect This is a Pic from the bleachers https://i.postimg.cc/RNdh7j8Z/IMG-3243.jpg It looks like they piled it up on one end of the infield

* * * They're looking for a missionary in the streets and an apostate in the sheets. I bet Zack Wilson's mom's friends' husbands want to take him to Disneyland. This is the Apostrophe Olympics equivalent of sticking the quadruple lutz. 10! Or Thorton Mellon's triple lindy in the diving competition.

Re: Drake allen
With a current guard rotation of Martinez, Falslev, Uduje, and Albury, what kind of player did people think we would get for this spot? This is a fantastic addition for the role that it is. Is the role to sit at the end of the bench during games and wave a towel, simulate shooting a bow and arrow w...

Who would have thought that just giving 18 - 21 year olds tens, and even hundreds, of thousands of dollars for nothing with no strings attached could have turned out badly?

I was not able to attend, Blake mentioned that Rahsul was at a funeral. He also mentioned that there was only 1 tight end available for today. Have their been injuries to the tight end group? I really like Lane/Switzer I also think Monney has a bright future. TE room will be just fine…… I hope you’...

Re: Nigel Burris
He was a 3 and D guy and couldn’t do either at the MW level. Is a lot of that due to how Sprinkle reportedly treated his players, probably. Was there also a lack of MW talent in him, probably. I thought 22 said it was just a confidence thing? I thought the implication was that Burris had the abilit...

Re: Edey or Sampson
There was a dunk sampson had, i think it was in the tournament against BYU. if i remember it right, a shot went up and sampson went for the rebound and jumped and put his hand about half way up the glass on the left side and caught the ball with his right and dunked it, well he tomahawked it. it wa...

Re: Edey or Sampson
I would compare Sampson more to victor. So very athletic, moved like a guard. Big men fishy shoot 3’s in that era, but I think it easily could have been part of his game. He also would have been able to defend the perimeter where Zach has no chance. I don’t see Zach being a force in the NBA. With t...

Edey or Sampson
A question for those of you old enough to watch Ralph Sampson play: After watching Edey win the National POY twice and dominate the college game the last two years - how do you compare him to Ralph Sampson (I believe Sampson was POY 3 times)? Which was more dominant in his era? I was quite young, bu...

Agreed. I admire Stew for putting USU on the modern college basketball map. His teams were entertaining to watch and his offensive sets were genius. He did more with less natural talent than anyone I can name. He gave USU fans something to cheer about and be proud of through some dark periods of foo...

For a lot of these guys, this is the only opportunity they will have to play football for money. How can you blame them? And good riddance to them, whatever their names are. I really don't know how you keep a fan base and donors for a program that has this kind of turnover every year. I salute those...

Re: Davon Booth to Transfer
I just don't see a reason to keep putting resources into football in this new paradigm. It sucks. Exactly. At what point do the smaller schools just drop school-sponsored sports all together? What is the point of trying to compete on a national level when you have no chance to keep up with the big ...

Re: Booster Rules
I think the only rules now are that boosters cannot arrange escort/prostitute services openly to recruits, except for a few counties in Nevada - as long as the recruits are 18, or older. Other than that, anything goes.
