Am I correct in remembering that he was the Nate “Ben Dole” announcer? I also enjoyed hearing him announce the games.
I think the originator of Ben Dole was the cajun guy at La Tech. He was a close second to my favorite visiting team broadcaster.

https://utahstateaggies.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster Is Zee Hamoda still coming? He’s not on the roster. All the other expected newcomers are now. All is well Aggie Nation, we just met Zee at Wal-Mart. He is here. Nothing says "I'm officially in the United States now" than a trip to Walmart.

Horrible news. I loved listening to him call games. He had such a calm demeanor and pleasant voice. Way too young. Definitely my favorite announcer to listen to. RIP, Robert.

The best part about the Jazz losing is now I can go back to not watching NBA basketball.

I think the Jazz are in big trouble, by the way. Personnel and salary decisions are going to be tough.

is there anyone who thought the Jazz would hang on to win the 6th game after looking at the first 2-3 minutes of the 3rd quarter - 25 point lead notwithstanding? I don't watch many NBA games in the regular season but based on a few ply-off games, I think that Queta has a decent chance to play. I th...

Re: Holy Utah Jazz

This is why i don't think Queta gets drafted or even plays in the NBA. The game has changed. They don't need a traditional center anymore more. Athletic 6'6" - 6'9" wings and a stretch 4 along with a bunch of shooters is all you need to win.

The Jazz kept trying to defend 5 perimeter players with 4 perimeter defenders (only one of whom is any good defensively). The Jazz kept trying to do what they did all year - feed them to Rudy near the rim. Well, the Clippers just happen to have the personnel to play 5 out offensively. They didn't r...

What an epic disaster. Horrible series by Snyder and Gobert. Worse for Niang and Favors. Ridiculous. I better hear some guys take some responsibility. I didn't see a single adjustment. 80 freaking points in the second half. I mean, my hell. Have some damn pride.

I’m wondering if there’s a place for Gobert in the NBA. This is how every team will try to play the jazz moving forward.

Three times in a row a 6'1" bench player drove and scored right over Gobert. He was a complete liability in this series.

I still think the Jazz should have rested Mitchell for Game 3. They had 2-0 game lead and they knew the Clippers were going to come out firing at home. There was a very good chance they were going to lose. Mitchell had just come back from an able injury and played a lot of hard minutes against Memph...

After his reaction to game 1 against Memphis, Mitchell isn't going to sit for a playoff game unless he can't walk.
Watching him limp up the tunnel with the ice pack on his ankle after the game last night, that may just be the situation.

With a 2-0 lead over LAC, could the Jazz afford to sit Conley for one more game and also sit Mitchell to rest that ankle? Then they could come back stronger to close out the series.

So it looks like former Aggie safety Jared Reed has landed at Boise? His 247 Sports timeline shows he enrolled at Portland State in 2016, and yet he is listed as a junior transfer to Boise State in 2021. Can this be correct? And I thought I had a lot of sophomore years.
