Re: Booster Rules
I think the only rules now are that boosters cannot arrange escort/prostitute services openly to recruits, except for a few counties in Nevada - as long as the recruits are 18, or older. Other than that, anything goes.

I haven't seen this before. A Utah Statesman interview with Carroll. Some inside info I hadn't heard before.

Re: Utah Hockey
Jazz note with a puck and hockey stick could look good. Whatever Smith chooses I tend to gravitate toward consistent branding at least in color scheme. Unfortunately Smith went ugly AF with highlighter yellow.. But like how Washington teams owned by Leonsis are consistent, I think that would be goo...

Sam has been listed on the injured/illness status for a few games now. I saw an article where he had a sore neck. That doesn't seem like something that would keep you out for a couple of weeks. I wonder if the Cavs are establishing their playoff roster and Sam isn't in those plans?

Horford and Porzingis are both out tonight against the bucks. Hopefully that means Queta gets some good minutes Box score says he is in the G League and not with the team. G League Finals start tonight. Also looks like Merrill has a neck injury and is sitting out. Right in time for the playoffs htt...

If I was them, I'd find a pro team (in Europe or the US) that would pay me to play and take coursework in the offseason to complete my education. You have to strike while the iron is hot and you have your health and youth. I wouldn't waste any more time with college ball.

I don’t believe it’s the transfer portal or NIL that are “ruining college sports” (though I do have my issues with both). I believe it’s the free unlimited transfer rule. I was cool with allowing one free transfer. But most of these guys are doing their second or third transfer knowing they’ll be a...

There was a time when the student part of the equation was really important. I miss that time. Interesting personnel decisions tonight for the Cavs. Merrill shot well and had good numbers/stats and had 18 points in 24 minutes yesterday. Today he plays 4 minutes. A match-up issue?

Which begs the question. How much do you offer and invest in a kid that has not played a minute of Div. 1 basketball? Granted, a 4 star kid may have potential, but what is potential worth when it may be realized on the other side of the country. Didn't we get a transfer from a PAC school that was a...

Great should give half his money to Brown. Great is awesome but will he have a PG that looks for him on every single play and is an incredible post passer. Josh is 60/40 on staying. If he leaves, I'm super curious to see where an 8 ppg 27% 3pt shooter goes in the transfer portal.
