If it happens at all it will be conference only starting in January. Which is interesting because that's the peak of viral season. Insightful comment Hipster....In a private conversation with a highly credentialed PhD researcher he noted the flu historically recedes into history in May and June.. T...

Just thought I'd share the PSA. No way in college basketball happens during 1st semester. I'm skeptical, but hopeful, it at least starts up in January.
You didn't specify which year.

I would say the comeback that happened two years ago. USU was on the brink of completely falling into oblivion and then a coaching change was made and...... voila! USU became relevant again - even winning back-to-back MWC tournaments.

Because nobody pays tuition if the school is shut down. This is a problem I have seen out here in California. The UC system is losing money with the shut-downs. I have talked to parents of kids that have been accepted into the UC system. Then they go to distance learning. So the parents think - why...

The MW had canceled the football season citing risk of the spread of COVID-19 and player safety as the reason. So USU is going to open campus for classes this fall and then shut down at Thanksgiving and go to remote classes and finals to finish out the semester. The school has stated mask wearing is...

Probably behind a paywall, but the gist of it is dividing D-1 basketball into 7 regions, 44 pods, with games played in a round robin format, trying to limit in-conference games (harder in the west) from after Thanksgiving through the start of the 2nd semester. Utah State would be in the West Region...

Not as physically unbeatable as some mentioned, but Rickey Henderson's 1406 stolen bases is pretty safe for a long time.
That's 478 more than 2nd place Lou Brock and he wasn't too shabby.
Walking Rickey was almost like giving him a triple.

A "successful, well known" G5? There are only a few of those. Boise, UCF, Houston, Memphis or Cincy maybe?? There aren't that many programs in the G5 that fit that bill.
