Re: New basketball venue for usu

Well we can argue this to death but if the Spectrum gets remodeled it will cost all of $100 million and still be in a poor location for paying customers I doubt Weber will need to remodel to that extent. As far as USU having a better program than Weber well one would hope so. Utah on the other hand...

I must be in the minority I don't like the Huntsman Center at all. It most likely is better for events but watching a game there is bad. I'd rather stay home than have the Huntsman Center.

Re: Sam Merrill

I forgot that was back when bleacher report was in some sort of love affair with BYU. Kemba Walker probably should have been player of the year. There were guys in the draft that have had better NBA careers than those two, but by college season resume it should have gone to Kemba.

Re: Sam Merrill

I'm not seeing Sam mentioned in many mock drafts at all. Let's face it, the NBA Draft is not about leadership, ability to shoot, or even ability to play to ball. It is about the measurables (reach, vertical, height vs position played etc.) and about upside. Teams want the next Giannis in the draft....

All I'm saying is if they get rid of all the old seats I hope I can buy one of the seats I spent more of the time standing in front of during the games. If they don't sell seats it would be a disgrace. Count me in the group that feels we should keep it as is. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Not surprising. He didn't have a great team, but he is a horrible choice to coach an up and coming group where development is key. Dictator coaches only work in the NBA if you have a star player that fully supports the coach, otherwise you have to be a players coach. And really, he just isn't Head ...

Michael Phelps with 23 Olympic gold medals may never be beaten. It would be tough to break it, but I could see some superstar swimmer eventually coming around and beating it. Mark Spitz for example maybe doesn't get to 23, but he would have been in the ballpark if he didn't retire at age 22. The Cy...

Not sure why you are settling for a home and home. I say 3 for 1 they need the games. They play in Logan 3 years in a row and we can be released out the 4th game if we can find a money game P5 school to commit for the same weekend.

The only real question is if Sam had enough left in the tank for OT.

I wonder if his back has recovered yet after carrying the team for 3 nights. Sadly for us will we most likely never see a better individual performance than what Sam left on the floor.

Honestly I wish we’d do something with our court like UNLV did or the MW Tournament Court. To make it unique. Images having something like the outline of old main or the block A. Or a even a mountain range would look awesome. The MW court is way too busy. I wouldn't mind an update but don't go crazy.

That is a tough call there. The Hawaii game really was program changing, but that PAC12 win was HUGE. If we don't win that Hawaii game we probably aren't in the PAC12 game the next season. We may never beat PAC12 again (because they won't play us). edit: Apparently the school is Utah. I moved out of...

That play by Sharp should have been higher than 16! The big thing that play has going against it was it being too little, too late. Maybe the same thing happening and leading us towards a win, or at least a momentum shift early on in the game would have been seeded higher. Though some things that h...
