Re: For those who are freaking out about Kowalczyk

I am seriously wondering about our AD. There is zero excitement factor with this hire. He was honestly the least qualified of any of those being considered. I would have taken Andy Hill over this. Un real. This is just not true. He was the most qualified. He has the highest level of sustained succe...

Re: Tod Kowalczyk - Announcement on Tuesday

Back to the topic. I am curious: The lack of conf tourney and NIT success is likely because his teams are really bad on Defense. Curious what his teams ranked in conference in this area. I have suspicion that they are near the bottom, which would be a HUGE red flag for me. Anyone know how I find th...

Re: Who should be our next head coach!

I wanted Simon, but believe kowalczyk will win at Utah state. His track record is arguably the best of any basketball coach we have ever hired. Sustained success over a long period of time means a lot. I would take his pre USU career over stews pre USU career. Don't know how you can look at what he ...

Not my first choice, but I think he'll do just fine here. His resume pre USU is more impressive than stews was. Stew had one tournament appearance, but not a lot of great seasons besides that. Kowalczyk has not had Mac tournament success, but had dominated the conference for several years. USU baske...

Damage control for an awesome season? We got paid around 1.9 million to have an incredible season. I'll take it. Now we just need to hire a great coach and keep the momentum going

You never know what will work out and what won't work out, but we have an extremely good track record for hiring proven head coaches. I'll take winning and the coach leaving every time over a question mark. Having coaches constantly bolt is annoying, but not nearly as annoying as losing. I'll take a...

Yeah, I think Sprinkle leaving might be coloring your view of the season. I still remember the 2012 football season as the best football season of my lifetime, not the season where Coach Andersen left. Yeah, but Coach Andersen built that team.
