Re: Aggie Identity Problem??

When I was at the salt lake campus, the first week of the semester they handed out of bunch of free stuff. Pizza (from the pie), jimmy johns, Aggie ice cream, beanies, hoodies, water bottles etc.. The old campus was in the granite school district building on state street. The lone elevator took wha...

Re: Aggie Identity Problem??

USU, as the state's land grant university, has a satellite campus in every county (all 29 counties in Utah) and a total of 32 satellite campuses. Yikes...that means 31 more to go for a complete set? Better get collecting! Some people collect water bottles of all the national parks, others collect w...

Re: Aggie Identity Problem??

Probably some giveaway item from a distance education site. I'm pretty sure I've got some stuff from USU - Kaysville. Exactly. I actually finished my degree at the Salt Lake location of USU on State Street and about 25th south in Salt Lake. I was before the time of this new logo, but I have a USU w...

Re: Bobby Wagner, on SNF, doesn't say "Utah State" this year either

What do you feel Aggie athletes who make millions in the pros owe Utah State financially? Obviously an athlete that receives a full scholarship and then goes onto success in professional sports or careers and makes millions does not owe the university anything. That being said a person who receives...

Re: Since We're Starving for Aggie Football

The Auburn loss from that year still stings more than any other over the years. I was there in person to see our most monumental win to that point only to have it ripped away in agonizing fashion. Re: Since We're Starving for Aggie Football

It's crazy to me that we had 13 NFL players on that roster and only won 6 games. Talent was there. Just needed time for the culture to shift. Pretty much. They had to "learn how to win." That same roster coming off a winning season likely is able to close out the vast majority of all our close game...

Re: Bobby Wagner, on SNF, doesn't say "Utah State" this year either

BWags is an Aggie 100% I will always love that 2011 team. Yeah it sucked we blew so many close games and the bowl sucked with how we choked it away, but that team broke through and showed winning was possible at USU again. BWAGS of course was the star of that team along with the running backs. Love...

Re: Stew Morrill should coach a High School team

If he wanted to get back into the game I think he’d be better off working with elite aau type teams. Stew is a great coach. He has the talent and a lot to offer. But I don’t see him as willing to take on the responsibility. I don’t know Utah as well or Colorado at all- but many states require head ...

Re: so how is the qb race shaping up for this season?

...you’re implying 2 QBs means equal reps between the two. I think differently than you on this. IF they do a 2 QB system, I’d wager Shelley takes the bulk of the snaps and Peasley comes in a la Taysum. If that is how you view a 2 qb system I'd be fine with that. It will be Shelley's team unless he...

Re: so how is the qb race shaping up for this season?

Almost always a bad move to have 2 QBs. I guess it can work though. See the Saints with Brees + Taysum. That isn't an example of 2 quarterbacks. Tayom Hill threw 6 total passes during the 2019 season and threw once in the opener this year. He comes in for a few runs, but isn't their quarterback. Ev...

Re: so how is the qb race shaping up for this season?

You never tell a kid you are the starter when recruiting him, but Shelley has the most experience, and most likely should be the starter, but Peasley will be in waiting, and if Shelley slips in the practice or games he would be replaced in a hurry.. How do you define a hurry? I'm sure if he is bad ...

Re: Stew Morrill should coach a High School team

He should become a TV or radio analyst. If Stew were to take up an analyst job he’d probably be like Johnny Miller’s golf commentator gig. He would not mince words. He wouldn’t be PC. He’d call out those that needed calling out. And he’d let loose with a few profanities. He’d last about two games. ...

Does the fact that the west coast is burning as we speak play into the PAC12 decision at all. Air quality alone may prohibit playing. I know a month is a ways away but is there reason to believe the fires will be under control by then? Or that Utah, Idaho, Wyo, Arizona, and Colorado may not be abla...
