I doubt what NM did in the halftime "incident" was intentional. The BSU players are going to get all heated over by some baseball players talking smack at them? Must have learned that from their coach. They are going to hate our crowd.

Jones was wearing the back therapeutic device midway through the game. Not sure if he's been having ongoing issues with his back or if he took a bad bump during the game, but I think that's why he struggled a bit later in the game.

I think one thing that doesn't hurt us as much is that it was an in-state rivalry game. I believe the selection committee usually takes those in-state rivalry games with a grain of salt. Doing well in the diamond head will help soften that loss even more.

Nah. This loss is on both coaches and players. I know some people don't want to blame the players but 8-23 for 3 says it all to me. One or two more shots made; or one or two defensive stops made and it's a different outcome.
