Re: Utah State’s Aging Fanbase
I’ve been on both sides of this. When I was in my 20s a loss by my team would make me very upset - I would be awry for a day, keep mulling it over and just not be myself. As I got older life happened, experiences happened and all of a sudden I was able to enjoy a win and not have to fret for days ov...

Spectrum announcer
Is this volunteer work or does he get paid? Being critical of a volunteer is much different than wanting someone to improve their work performance if this is a professional gig. If he’s getting paid to announce and doesn’t take the prep time to figure out how to pronounce that’s a problem. I don’t t...

With more practice with WR he will get those deep throws in stride - just one more hazard of now allowing him to play until mid season

We are holding it for the Hawaii game. That way we will be guaranteed a win in conference, it would be crazy to show anything creative until then.treesap32 wrote:Time to open up the playbook we've been saving for this game. Hopefully the last 3 losses are worth it.

Ok - not sure the argument here, they are literally ranked but if you are saying they aren’t as talented as other top 25 teams - are you saying they are worse than Weber? My point was we were a different offense against a ranked team than an FCS team, I don’t see the controversy

Re: Think Blake is mad that the offense just looked the best it has all year with Legas?
Tonight we had a really good gameplan. The personnel decisions were not exactly the ones I would have made. I really struggle to trust that this coaching staff is playing the best players at each position. Not really mad about this one. The season lost its savor for me a few weeks ago. I think Coop...

Re: Think Blake is mad that the offense just looked the best it has all year with Legas?
Very obvious that Legas never had the opportunity to compete for starting position. Coaches crack that he had his chance this summer (while Bonner was still recouping) to win it and didn’t? Come on there is a night a day difference out there tonight. I wonder if in order to become a head coach you j...

I forgot how many arm-chair coaches we have after losses on this board. You would think I’d learn already. Opinions are like butt holes - everyone has them and they all stink. I support our staff 100% and I agree with Blake’s comments last night. Why is it that sports is the only market in which th...

I didn’t boo - but what an embarrassment on the field. The crowd booing was not embarrassing IMO. Fans should be able to express their feelings on a game. If you want to hear cheering, maybe do something that would cause cheering. If you hear booing from your own crowd there is a good reason [emoji8...

Why are we throwing the ball three straight downs on the 3 yard line? We don’t believe we can run the ball three yards against an FCS team in three downs? Although that interception was atrocious the play calling was worse. We run the ball when it’s 3rd and 17 and then throw three yards from pay dir...

It can't just be "Logan" as the excuse. I get it, I get it.. But still, Laramie has been bringing in bigger ballers than us. I don’t know if Faslev is that guy - but we really could have won several more games last year if we had someone that could finish. Most of our losses came in the final minutes and we just didn’t have that guy that had the confidence to finish.

Re: What is the single biggest reason
Logan has as much going on as Laramie, Reno, Albuquerque - but they seem to have better luck getting players there. I think Utah is thought of as very white and very Mormon. Utah is not known for many things outside of skiing and religion. I really think that has a big impact on who we can get. Espe...

Re: Observation of what goes wrong at the end of the game
Everyone was missing FTs and not only at the end of the game when they were “tired”. The only person making threes was RJ and he played plenty - not a tired issue. Miller didn’t play much and only made 1 three. We have plenty of issues, but not starting Shulga isn’t one of them and having the only p...

Re: Since Brock got that back injury
Brock is more limited than the players you mentioned. Brock can only shoot threes and does so in a very streaky manner. Throughout his career, he's shot us out of more games than he's shot us into. Ashworth, Jones, Bairstow and RJ can all bring the ball up the floor on a break, start the offense, c...

Re: Andrew Peasley to enter the portal?
I have been surprised at the Peasley love. Every time he goes in there are a lot of cheers. I do think he is dynamic with his speed, but as an overall QB I worry when he’s in. I feel like he checks the first option for the play and if it’s not there starts to run. My biggest complaint about Bonner h...
