Things to eat/do in College Station, TX

I'm heading out to the UCLA @ Texas A&M game over Labor Day weekend. Did anybody on this board go to the game when we played them a handful of years back? If so, I'd love to hear any if there are any food suggestions or tips while I'm there (parking, etc).

Re: I am fed up

We aren't (I can't express myself without swearing) and moaning because of one game. The entire season gave us plenty of reasons to, rightfully, b**** and moan. This. This isn't just about today's game. It's about the season as a whole. I've cut Coach Wells some slack, and I've felt that many on th...

Re: Does a bowl game even matter at this point?

A few people claiming to be team insiders have said the players won't play for Wells. If so, they are lazy, entitled prima-dona's. With that in mind, why even accept a bowl bid if we even get one? They haven't seemed to play with any motivation for well over a month, why reward them with a bowl gam...

There is definitely a good chance he could be gone after this year. Re: NAR: BYU Color scheme change?

Even setting aside the whole "you stole our colors" aspect of this, I think that the royal blue is better for BYU's identity. It's more traditional and familiar to their pre-1999 fanbase. I've heard a number of cougar fans that feel the same way. I agree that it is better for their identity and tha...

Memphis @ Ole Miss

Memphis playing well and beating Ole Miss right now in the first half. Torn because I would love to see an SEC team go down to a G5 team, but for our NY6 chances we need them to have a slip up. This would really help their case.

If I'm a Ute fan I expect to blow USU out. Not lack of respect, just an evaluation of the talent on the two programs- especially with suspensions and how we performed last week. Did anyone else actually watch Michigan last week? Their QB was awful. I'll bet they barely become bowl eligible at 6-6. ...

Most Ute fans I've talked to in the office today are definitely not assuming this game will be easy. Many have said it feels like a trap game for them. Chuckie would be the 1st to credit his teammates for helping him make plays. Doesn't really have anything to do with the point being made. If anything it helps the point I am trying to make. I have to laugh at all of this "Jojo was explosive only when the right play was called" talk. Watch the guy's 2013 and 2014 highlights. So many big plays on basic sweep plays or slants. So many punt returns where he is making multiple people miss on his own, and then turning on the jets and simply ...
