Re: QB, Talent, Coaching and Circumstances

All teams have had to prepare under the same circumstances, so I don't see any issue or excuse/reason on that front. As for talent, is there really that big of a gap in talent between USU and BSU right now? I can't believe that. We looked like a middle Big Sky team. The Aggies looked ill-prepared, ...

There is really only one position you don’t take from Utah. We did it. Hope he gets better.

Even if we are a good running team it might get a little boring watching 20 runs up the middle a game.
If it were Darwin Thompson, I would be ok with it.

45 yards total offense in a half. Is that a record?
What happened to Mister Motivator (GA)?
Looked to me that the kids gave up towards the end of the half.
Shelley is a deer with headlights.

It was 100% the right decision for HC to transfer under the circumstances. It was 100% the wrong decision to transfer to Texas Tech as a walk-on. I agree. Very foolish to go to a place where you have almost no chance to play. That said, there has to be a school that in need of a quarterback to star...

Only one. 1962 Boston (not New England then) Patriots Vs Buffalo bills played at Boston University stadium a short distance from our apartment. Choice tickets for $5.00 each. Buffalo featured Cookie Gilchrist (sp?) who by that time had no ligaments in one knee. he kept things together with highly d...

Logan or Lubbock?

As I watched the entire second half of the TCU vs. Texas game, I wondered if Henry Columbi is thinking he made a bad decision. Unless there are injuries, he has next to no chance of seeing the field in his last two seasons. He is behind a pretty darn good Soph. Q-back. I may be wrong, but there is a...

Great NBA games tonight. The Heat-Celtics game was incredible. This Denver-LA game is pretty good too, especially if Denver holds on. Wouldn't mind Merrill going to any of these teams. BYU games are picked up relatively easy. But after seeing the powerhouse schedule they play this year, they could choose to leave us off in the future in favor of some of those powers.
By George I bet why fans will demand a national championship if they run the table this year. :)

Tatis's father would be the one who "ran up the score" when he hit 2, yes 2 Grand Slams in the same inning. Crazy. But then I see no stupid rules in baseball. It is all in the eye of the beholder.

At the very least they could have a G5 champion and a P5 champion, and let them play each other for the College championship. Kind of like the old NFL champ playing the AFL champ in the Super Bowl. A little known record that usually only a fan of the team would remember, but I find that when I think about it, it seems near impossible to beat or even tie.
