Re: Chuck Shelton Passed Away

Chuck was hired about the time Lou Holtz was hired to coach Notre Dame. Three months before Sheltons first spring game, I had dinner with Lou Holtz at our National Sales meeting. He was there as our Company' keynote speaker at the awards banquet. I asked him if he knew Chuck Shelton. Lou said "Yes, ...

I could not care less if he had zero offers. Bobby Wagner had one. Zach V. had zero. Nick V. had one. Kyler Fack. had zero. Jordan Love had zero. I could go on and on.... The kid is 6'2 and 180 bs. He is a coach's son so he likely has a high football IQ and I suspect is pretty bright too. His dad w...

I thought that was a very questionable call and I think he and the coach were surprised at the decision. I don't think there will be any additional penalties though. He reached out and shoved a guy. Re: End of Game Offense

I think it could be effective at times during a game. But playing it all the time would be a disaster. One of things that has been successful for us is to move the ball a lot during the offensive possession. Make 5 or more passes with a lot of movement without the ball. And sometimes have a good sho...

I guess the question is will Queta be coming back. Also, my own opinion is that Kuba is better than Dorius. Better hands, better movement. I don't know why coach Smith has benched Kuba since the beginning of the season, but if Kuba was getting the minutes given to Dorius, I think he would be way bet...

Looks like Gentry is leaning towards Utah. I believe he was originally an Arkansas commit. De-commited then gave commitment to Utah. for me...or should I say best moment of the night, came at 5:14 left in the game. The play by play guy had been raving about Justin Bean just a few minutes before on the alley oop dunk shot. Re: I believe that we got iced by the fouls and review time

The thing is both teams had to sit through the fouls and the reviews. This was lost by poor coaching and expecting 4 guys to play for two hours and not get gassed True, but the moment changed in the game was when the fouls got crazy. Refs had more playing time than the players at the end of the 2nd...

Side note: I am grateful to have seen Estes play. He scored 2001 points in less that 3 years, AND playing fewer games per year that are played now. Yes, the tallest team in College basketball just got out rebounded by 21 against one of the shortest.

We have our problems.....but I think we have a good enough team to win a lot of Conference games. Just not enough to finish 1st but not lower than 4th. We should get a decent seed in the Cnf Tourney. By then......I HOPE.....we will be healthy (Queta) and will have a chance to win out. (I hope)
