Re: Another Olympic story that I love!

I like that japan is winning a lot of gold medals too. It is cool when the host country gets to celebrate victories. I really enjoyed the Australian swim coach celebrating Titmus' win in the women's 400 Free. I enjoyed watching the American Lee Kiefer win gold in the foil event in fencing. I liked ...

I think tonight Nastia Liukin the commentator made an interesting point about simone's last vault. she said that when she was half way through her routine it was like she forgot where she was and didn't complete the vault. she said that when the athletes mind and mental state is not there those tric...

it's kinda interesting that they are requesting an invite, when no invite has been issued, or am i just picking and choosing the information that i'm reading. it would be funny if in the end they really don't want either one of them.

Re: Most re-watchable Aggie games of last decade

Don't forget that it was all in the shadows of the National Championship trophy in 2014. It was beautiful to see that hype train hit the skids. I love re-watching that game, with all the BYU hype and the National Championship trophy on display on the sidelines. The Aggies came in to Provo and owned...

Bairstow has always moved very well and is rather quick for his length. It just seemed like the game hadn't slowed down for him yet. Things like making a great drive but unable to finish at the rim, or getting antsy with the ball and dribbling off a foot or getting called for traveling due to runni...

I was just curious what peoples thought or opinions are on Stephen A Smith. Me personally i have a very hard time listening to him, or even trying to follow him. I ask cause when he says something controversial it goes viral. He has a lot of influence, or at least it appears that way, but i really h...

I also think that the pros are not going to put in the second string just because there is two minutes left and a 20 point lead. i would bet most starting qb's finish out most games, even in blowouts. Now, when you're not even dressed to play, you will never get in!

Re: Smith hire looking like a train wreck for the U

I think it's interesting when people talk about all the transfers from the Utah program this year, but don't mention that every year they have a huge turnover for transfers. all through coach k's tenure there he had a lot of turnover because of transfers. i think smith will be ok. i will root for hi...

What were his stats at the U? I admit I don’t follow them at all. Here you go: https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/4431751/rylan-jones I would focus more on his first year stats. He had a shoulder injury most of his second season. I'm hoping that explains most, if not all, of t...

isn't this the time of the year for the annual "Boise is pursuing", new conference, creating new conference, new tv deal, new coach, new "insert anything you want here". kinda gets boring and predictable and not worth our time, but we sure do like to create threads about it, and read them, and comme...

And Gonzaga landed Chet Holmgren and Hunter Sallis, two 5 star recruits. Amazing what they have built from the WCC.
I'm not sure being in the WCC had anything to do with it, other than giving them enough wins to get to the Big Dance every year!

A sort of related question. Why aren't the play-in teams always playing for a 16th seed spot in the round of 64? Yeah you would think it would be 4 play in games to be the 16 seed with the teams ranked 61-68. Weird to have play in games for the 11 seed while seeds 12-15 don't have to play in. 12-15...

Likely means Rylan Jones will be transferring as well. I don’t think he will be. He has nowhere to go. Why? I have not watched them play but assuming he is underwhelming? He was pretty damn bad this season. I didn't watch many of their games, for obvious reasons (they suck), but when I watched tune...

wasn't the plan set in place during the season, so everyone knew that there was a possibility of make-up games at the end of the season! what's the big deal! play the games that are scheduled, i guess similarly to a weak schedule all you have to control is beating whose on the schedule.
