Re: Cade potter

No joke. When's the baby due? He's not messing around. They are high school sweethearts that just knew they wanted to be together so they might as well go for it. I got home in November and was married by February. Same situation. Funny, I got home in January and was married in June, 20 years later!

Re: Greatest Player of the Past 20 years?

So if you were captain of a team and had all the players of the last 20 years to choose from and you got to pick first, who would you pick? If the order rolls and you get #1 and the other guy picks #2/#3, you get #4/#5, etc... I would pick Queta for sure. Otherwise you split the other two and give Q...

Re: Which will be harder to replace?

I disagree with some of you on Queta. I think if our team had more offensive weapons Queta would have been better on offense. Sure he got the ball a lot and had a couple of games when he had to score but I think if you had one or two other reliable scorers would have done a couple of things for Quet...

I've always been an advocate for a 16-team field with all conference champs and 5 at-large getting an invite. However, when listening to the radio the other day I could be convinced that a 10-team field would be ideal. Take the P5 conference champs and the highest rated non-P5 team (i.e. Notre Dame,...

I hope to start the season we have athletes in action and sisters of the poor or dii team. Last year we lost a couple of games early because we didn't know who we were, if we got those wins over VCU, South Dakota and BYU we would have been looking at a 7 seed and perhaps raised the conference NET ra...

Makes sense. He's obviously getting good minutes here but have you seen Utah's roster lately, especially factoring in transfers out? Rollie can play 43 minutes a game and take 36 shots every night if he wants to down there.
He can only play 43 minutes a game if they go to overtime.

When Queta gets drafted and plays his first NBA game next season we will off had three players in the 2000s play in the NBA, which is remarkable for a mid major. Not his fault but the government has sure let USU down. Two state schools and one can afford to pay a coach 4x as much. Utah gets more funding. Utah got loads of money for Olympics. Legislature could have said that Utah couldn't join PAC-12 without USU. Utah legislature has let USU out to dry.

Feed the post. Queta with a 6'7" guy in him should show 30 points. It will force a double team. We then need to have his cut to the basket and be able to hit the 3. 40% from 3 and we run away. Unfortunately we don't often shoot 40% from 3.

I think they can find a tenth block in that game. He had two that came after fouls. I think those should count, if the ball went in it would be an and one, why not count the block? We did our own bracket using the rules the committee uses about 10-12 years ago. I think we got 63-64 teams right and the only one we missed was leaving USU out. There are 68 teams now but 34 auto bids, probably 20 deep locks, another 5-10 locks and then guessing last 4-9 teams. Not all that hard.
