Re: A video of worst college football coaching mistakes

They need the game Dixie St. was in the championship many years ago. They were up by a few with about 3 seconds left, had the ball and decided to punt, punt gets blocked, returned for a touchdown and they lose. Could have just hiked it and told a guy to run around for 3 seconds and game would have b...

Re: I'm Playing GM for the Utah Jazz Kind of long

If I'm the Jazz, I probably hang on to my assets for while unless a true number 1 comes available. Agreed, I didn't trade Mitchell and Gobert to acquire all these draft picks to end up with players who aren't as good as Mitchell and Gobert and are older then when they were traded. Unfortunately, mo...

The church does not use tithing money for NIL purposes. It doesn't serve the purpose of the church particularly. I know some claim that BYU athletics is a missionary tool but I think a lot people would stop paying tithing if it is was used for outrageous NIL funds rather than on buildings, temples, ...

A few years back there was a kid on DU's club hockey team that got offered a spot on the DU NCAA hockey team. That was big news! It is saying that maybe one every 10 to 20 years there is a single player on the ACHA team (USU's level) that could make an NCAA team. Back when we started the hockey team...

As a new incoming coach he probably doesn't want to counsel anyone out until he has a little more time to watch film and get to know the player and then have someone that he can replace them with. Last time I checked, a coach's longevity isn't a metric most people care about. Take ESPN, for example. The first column includes each team's win/loss record. Other measures the public seems to care about include tournament performance and national rankings. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basket...
