Re: If Both Gach withdraws from the NBA draft he wants to play for Utah State

This was alluded to another thread, but after looking at Gath's stats and seeing he's a 25% shooter from 3pt area, it's weird that we get so excited about guys that shoot worse than Miller/Brito/Porter. And add to that his assist to turnover ration is 1:1. Having said that, I would be glad to land ...

The Toolsons are true blue Cougs. The only thing that might make him lean somewhere else is that Conner was ignored by BYU until right before signing at UVU. Re: Projecting Colombi Against Former USU QBs

It might be blasphemous to say, but Chuckie doesn't deserve the #2 spot on the list. It's cool and all that he was the QB at the beginning of the resurgence of our football program BUT in all honesty, he didn't really get a whole helluva lot done. Other than Utah, it was close but no cigar the rest...

There are plenty of examples of success stories about those who signed late in the process but no program wants to bet on that as the default. Hopefully we land a great guard soon.

If he is anywhere close to Tony Adams that would be amazing. Touchdown Tony was the real deal. I guess the other thing is that IMO Hipple and Adams both belong above Chuckie in your rankings.

Is it just me or are all these grad transfers shooting above their league? UVU to USC/Arizona? :wtf: Seems like a HUGE jump. I agree. A lot of the UVU players were not happy this year and some of them going in the portal that want to play for Pope at BYU. I have no idea how Jardine feels about Duryea but I do know that TD going to Boise was not why Jardine left. He wanted out of Boise because it wasn't working.

The bracketing is really messed up. The most glaring one for me is Nate Williams. He is one of the best players to ever lace em up on a college floor in our wonderful state. He is definitely a top 15 or 16 guy and he got a 9 seed.

It was a foul but one that is inconsistent in how it is called. Especially that far away from the basket. The out of bounds call on Queta was atrocious. The missed call on Sam not so much.

I never got to watch Estes, and I never thought a player greater than Jaycee Carroll would play for Aggie Basetball in my lifetime. If I could pick a player from any era and have him on my team. I would pick #1 Merrill #2 Carroll #3 Greg Grant #4 Wayne Estes #5 Tai Wesley. Bench: Tony Brown, Cornel...

Announcers have opinions just like all of us. I think in both games they have been fine and actually gave us a ton of love in game 1. I have no problem with them. Seems that we are really think skinned at times. No one is out to get us and we get credit when we earn it.

I didn't remember that Dutch couldn't beat Weber but I do remember how good they were year in and year out. Weber did have a run of very good coaches. Neil McCarthy won a lot of games there though he was not someone I cared for at all. Never liked coaches who are screamers.

Completely agree with the sentiment that the scheduling strategy has been the biggest problem. We had some teams that could have won some games but they had never played the kind of competition we faced in round 1. And better scheduling would greatly increase the odds of better seeding.
