Agree with you Sneed, suspect he should have done so the first time around, and I wonder where our assistant and well qualified A D Jerry Bovee was during this time.

Re: INNOCENT!
I expect future potentially tenuous meetings like this disaster will be properly recorded and with a firm itinerary published in advance. The lingering recriminations, emotions and finger pointing are so non beneficial and negative to Utah State University and our school president.

Re: Interview with new commit Kyle Mayberry
Thank you 22. Another nice and well done interview from you. Appears we had some heavy lifting to get this young man all the way to Logan. I had no idea we recruited him out of high school, another interesting gem you turned up in a very professional interview. I would recommend everyone on this boa...

Re: Cash Gilliam
Seems we've had little good fortune with the 4 down linemen set. As has been noted here, the 6-3/4 275 lb plus D Ends are in high demand and short supply, so at USU we moved to a 3 - 4 set. This offers some stunting options for a defense that may be out maned by heavier, bulkier O linemen. In 2019 w...

Liked your comment about time taking time BLUER , seems to be very accurate. Time to recruit, sign, grow and initiate into the system our new players. I do believe we have some athletes on the team now, and perhaps the divisive cancer and the reasons for it to flourish have been excised. We can expe...

Re: Boise State finalizing agreement with Baylor's Jeramiah Dickey for AD job
It's usually best to know what the competition (the enemy) is up to. I even keep a casual eye on the pair of schools south of Ogden. For all we know, BS may become more pliable with their future league demands. Failing that, the other MWC school presidents may actually have enough spine to demand a ...

I'm just old school with uniform colors my friends. White helmets, Navy jerseys, white pants at home. White top to bottom when traveling with Navy Blue pants from time to time. Certainly not opposed to a unique change up at times, but no fan of the designer combinations over the past few years. A we...

Yeah - Spartans getting embarrassed in the first quarter of their bowl game. A pick 6, a blocked punt that just got punched in, no offense whatsoever. In their defense, I believe they are missing 2 offensive lineman, a tight end, another receiver, defensive lineman, and both coordinators... I just ...

I recall being appreciative and attentive to have knee pads covering my knees. I once asked a really fast player why he didn't wear his knee pads over his knees and his retort was.. "Knee pads slow me down sport". Guess so because I ran him down more than once and we developed a bit of game time ban...

Considering the excellent B B hire Hartwell made I would expect the same insight prevailed this time with Coach Anderson from Arky State. After the earlier so called "splash" hire failed to arrive, it seems to me Hartwell made an excellent choice. Having said this I would expect that Coach Anderson ...

Re: Zoom call details that were new to me
I'm not an attorney although I've paid for some very solid advice over time. I wonder about all the speculation from the players going on about what they thought they heard from Noelle in a zoom call. This needed some "cheer leaders" to spool up the temperature of the zoom call. The event seems to h...

This league proposal appears way too elastic and without steady and established regional rivals. The old WAC tried a 16 school alignment and the results were catastrophic. I like the MWC with historic rivalries and meaningful competition. The cynic in me notes if we can't currently figure out how to...

I’ve heard that a big part of the SJSU formula is going after kids with poor grades that can’t get into fbs schools. San Jose has a coach that has been busily reconstructing a lethargic football program. Some T V commentators at more than yesterdays Boise game have noted the same, and even last season there were some positive accolades sent his way. There are occasions when a team comes together with chemistry, g...

As far as things drying up in Boise remember that money floats many boats, even with a Head Coaching change. When our Head Coach Bruce Snyder left USU for the L A Rams he publicly stated that "you can lose with money but you can't win without it".

If anyone has access to much more than simple drive by blather about how experienced Noelle is with public venues and how accomplished she is, these assertions would have been D O A. Just pause and think about the assertions now against her, and how respected Frank has been in our circles.

I thought Chuck Shelton was a good solid football coach. Shelton had a thin budget and a penurious school president by the bane of Stanford Cazier. Stan didn't get it about football being the marquee sport for a school. I actually knew Stan Cazier more than just by his title. Chuck Shelton cleaned u...

There are ways to stop the wishbone option. We didn't see that demonstrated last night. I've schemed it with a former Texas offensive player, implemented it and seen those methods work. HICKAGGIE pretty well covered how to stop the option, and I'm scratching my head about how our secondary was burne...
